Wailua Shave Ice San Diego

I would love for the prep guy to wash his hands before before preparing the ice he is always in his cel.

Really good shaved ice, exactly like the one in Hawaii. They have different flavors and sizes and the prices are reasonable.

We were so excited to hear that Wailua Shaved Ice was coming to San Diego in OB. This is one of our favorite shaved ice places in Hawaii and to have it so close to home is great! Everything is just like it is in Kauai, so good! Also, great location although it's a bit tucked away it's worth the find.

This shave ice hit the spot today! We got the Lava Flow with a snow cap and ice cream. So good! They also offer vegan options. We will definitely be back! Located inside OB Beans Coffee Roasters.

The BEST shave ice I’ve ever had. Had it for the first time in Hawaii and I’m over the moon that they have a shop in San Diego! I crave it allllllll the time.

A slice of Kauai in OB! Staff was awesome! Shave ice was authentic and super refreshing. Love the natural fruit syrups.Could use a little more variety with the menu, but I will absolutely return if I’m in the area.

THESE ACAI BOWLS ARE TO DIE FOR. Go get one right now. Oh my gosh. My sister and I were visiting San Diego and my friend told us we absolutely had to try the açaí bowls in Ocean Beach. So we made the trek down to get a couple and let me tell you, I will be craving these bad boys for the rest of my life. (The first thing I did when I got home is google "how to make açaí bowls at home.") The service was friendly and there was a bit of a wait, but that is reasonable considering they prepare the beautiful concoction after you order it. The fruit was good and fresh. 10/10 great breakfast treat.

Love love love this place! The original is in Kauai and this is the only TRUE shave ice in SD.They also have yummy smoothie bowls topped with granola, local fruit AND delicious creamy chia seed pudding.

Whenever we visit Kauai, a stop at Wailua Shave Ice is a must, so when we heard that they were opening a location in San Diego, we were thrilled! During a weekend stay in Del Mar, we made the drive to Wailua Shave Ice and were extremely happy that it was exactly the same as the fabulous shave ice we love so much in Kauai. They only use real fruit and fruit juice, no artificial flavors or syrup. We ordered the Coconutxcoconutxcoconut and the Lava Flow, and they were incredible! If you are in the San Diego area, you have to try wonderful Wailua Shave Ice! It’s the best!
