Hands down one of the best pastries I’ve had. We visited the bakery at the end of the day so they only had a few options left. We got the orange almond cookie and cinnamon bun. Orange cookie was so fragrant and quite chewy. Cinnamon bun was extremely flaky and sugary (but not too sweet somehow). I will visit early another time to try out some other pastries.
Preordered online a few days before (parents were in town) and it was great!!! I’ve been wanting to come here since i moved to SD and it did not disappoint. The staff was very kind and helpful, coffee pretty good, and pastries incredible. I think that’s the best kouign amann I’ve ever had.
Everything Wayfarer makes is great. We’ve enjoyed many of their pastries, sandwiches, as well as their taco night and pizza night specials. Greta coffee and selection of drinks as well. Highly recommend.
