8/12/2024: I tried to come here twice during hours it was listed as OPEN on Google Maps. Come to find out, that as of late July 2024, WestBrew Downtown is only open on Padres HOME game days. You'd only know this if you went to their Instagram page or Googled them and saw this information on the sandiegobeer.news website. As of today, Westbrew's own website's landing page for the downtown location doesn't mention their change in hours either, smh. Hope I saved...
The beer is good enough, nothing special but solid. What made this 4* instead of 3* was just how incredibly engaging, friendly and attentive the bartender was. Really, she was that much of a difference-maker on her own, which when traveling solo is a game-changer.
