My favorite happy hour!!! The food, drinks the elegance! everything is absolutely exquisite! They have the best bartender in San Diego, every drink this man makes is outstanding especially the cosmopolitans! And the prices are affordable. Thank you! I will recommend to everyone I knowI just came on 3/14/24 again for happy hour and I wanted to give praise to Moneyshh, being his first week as the bar tender and server, this gentleman made us feel so welcome and was so attentive. We noticed something was different on our charcuterie board and with no questions he spoke with the chef and fixed it. The customer service is wonderful thank you!

The food is amazingly delicious. The ambience is so elegant and the bar tender Jesse makes the best Cosmos my sister and I have ever had! We can’t stay away from their happy hour ;)

Had a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board with live music and chandeliers everywhere and when the bill came it was less than $50. Unbelievable value in the happy hour here I will definitely return and the service is top notch as well. 5 star dining for less price than a sports bar.

I stayed at the hotel for the weeknd I needed some peace of mind and relaxation time as soon as I cheacked in i was very grateful to have met employee Yvette Flores she was both kind welcoming as well as accommodating and helpful my stay was very peaceful and relaxing I will defently be returning
Loved!! I went with 3 friends and we had a wonderful girls time!! All the staff was super nice at the hotel, ballet parking, waiters, reception!! All great and I loved my brunch!! I’m so excited for my next visit when I’m in town.
Small room but super swanky. Great for an intimate date night or fancy brunch. One TV in the place currently playing the US Open. The bar also has a happy hour.
Intimate setting. Great staff!
We visits the Westgate Tea room for my granddaughters birthday. This was my 1st visit to this tea room. Parking is easy and at $10 I suggest using the valet option. Service was slow and not "Tea" attentive. They failed to note we had allergies at our table which extended service and quite honestly diminished any quality in food for this with allergies. The tea pots were to large for a single person, which meant tea steeping well past recommended time which became very bitter. They have no single Origen teas and the garden of the tea served falls well below Pekoe standards. For the price $50 per person the service simply does not stand up to Tea Room standards. Beautiful setting and room but of you want a true experience for to the USS Grant.
I ate on the patio twice during my stay at the hotel. Each time the staff was friendly and accommodating. The lemon ricotta pancakes for breakfast were excellent and didn't sit in my stomach like a lead weight (looking at you, IHOP). The kobe burger for lunch was cooked and seasoned perfectly--no condiments necessary. I'd go back just for the truffle fries!

Their Eggs Benedict was amazing
I showed up to the front desk tired after a rough weekend south of the border. Ron at the front seat took one look at me, and knew exactly what I needed. I have no idea how he did it, but the man has a gift. Thank you Ron and everyone at the Westgate (shoutout to Sam for the love earlier!) for a lovely and memorable visit. With tremendous thanks, John
Beautiful, small restaurant. It wasn't crowded when we went so it felt spacious and it was quiet. Food wasn't exceptional but it was good. Dessert is pretty untraditional. The tiramisu is a couple macarons, a chocolate roll and cream. Good, but not if your looking for traditional tiramisu. Same with the cheesecake.
I dont know if the service was bad due to Restaurant week, but it took 30 mins for our server to realize that we hadn't even had our first course yet. The main entrees were served cold. 2 dishes were returned. Other patrons complained as well as their dishes were forgotten for 1 hour.
We waited more than an hour for our entrees, noticing that several tables whose guests arrived after us had been served. We were repeatedly told that our food “would be right out.” No explanation was given. We arrived at 5:30 for our reservation and left shortly after 7:00. Because we had theater tickets, about which we told the waiter, we had to leave without eating. As we were getting up, we were told that our entrees were ready, but we would not have had time to eat. We were charged for the appetizer and drinks.
