Wonderful Sushi Hillcrest

My first visit here was fabulous thanks to server Nora, she had helped me to choose for the sushi and her knowledge about the sushi was amazing. Ask her for any suggestions for their freshest. We had carpaccio dish and sashimi and rolls. Despite of my experience I want to mention that it was weird to having a sushi on korean bbq dish, the dish itself is was silver plate. Maybe they have some korean food that i didn’t know.
My fiancé and me will be back!

Great local sushi spot. My fiancee and I have been coming here for years. Their sushi is excellent and fair priced. We always leave with our sushi craving satisfied ?

The people are very rude. Food was slow to be prepared they made us wait for over an hour, food was not great, service was terrible, owners were extremely inhospitable and should not be in business.

In the evening, I stopped by with a friend for a quick meal. The beer was cold, and the lemon salmon rolls were really delicious. Thank you for the friendly service. I will come back for another beer when the weather is hot again."

The food is really good, slightly pricey but worth it. Service was not good but at least the staff were nice, I guess they were just busy. It’s a cute restaurant, nothing fancy. I would definitely go back.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Wonderful Sushi for years and have always enjoyed the food and service. However, on my recent visit, my order was incorrect. When I politely informed the waiter, who had some beautiful visible tattoos, he responded with a dismissive eye roll and his entire demeanor shifted, becoming noticeably annoyed. While he insisted the order was correct, I know from past experiences that it wasn’t. This interaction, particularly the eye roll, unfortunately left me feeling disrespected, which was disappointing given my long-standing patronage of the restaurant. Never coming back, you must train your staff on customer service.
