Bro. Don’t get the spicy curry (phall). It made my stomach hurt. 😞 too much ghost pepper & habanero. It’s basically great food and service but this restaurant is closing at the end of 2024. Losing business is gonna close this place up. :( better catch it before it closes shop. The cultural curries are legit… just really wish I could have tried something that was not going to ruin me. lol.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: 03/2022 I used to come here pretty often until they raised the prices and the quality began to shift a few years ago. Since then I would go twice a year. The last time I went was in June (of 2021) and everything was fine.
Then, I came again because I was in the area and boy, did things change:
• Everything seemed to be heavily seasoned with ginger, even dishes from completely different regions. • Animal proteins now cost extra--only vegetables and tofu come with curry entrees. It's now $0.75 each for regular, $1.50 for large. • The price went up, again. Large starts at $16, regular for $12.75. Everything else also went up. • Upcharges for things like double veggies, swapping rice for plain naan and other things that were either nominal or free.
Besides that, the chicken in the dish was dry and mild spiciness was certainly not mild. After this, I've decided to not return, but not after having previously dealt with (and tolerated) a case of food poisoning, an instance of incredibly terrible service, and consistently charred naan. Again, these things happened in the past and I've been going here for more than ten years.
Also, a small gripe: Tikka Masala is not Indian, it is an Bangladeshi-English dish. Before, they noted it as English, but have now called it an Indian dish.
EDIT: 9/2024 Hah! I just got an e-mail saying that this place is going out of business soon! Serves you right for nickel and diming everything and overcharging. You used to be my favorite place and now I'm happy you're going. Bye. 👋

I had gone to this establishment regularly since about 2012, but I went there on occasion since before then. I went probably about ten times a year during that time, but then the quality started to drop, they seemed to not be able to keep any of the good wait staff any more, and prices kept jumping (which, I get, it's PB and minimum wage kept going up).
So, I started going only went twice a year and unfortunately things only got worse, not better. Then they pulled the nickel and diming nonsense, as well as the weird ginger thing, compounded by all the aforementioned past experiences in the original review that we tolerated, that was it.
Oh well. C'est la vie.

Walked in 2:30pm. Nice gentleman brought us waters and that was it. Waited 30 min to order drinks and food - had the menu practically memorized at that point lol. There was ONE other family in there. We left to get food elsewhere. Kinda ridiculous
