The only taste in my mouth is a bad one.
100 percent no parking and no paid lot nearby. 30 minutes of circling around, we went to juniper and ivy and it was wonderful. If you want to be angry and late for your reservation... go to wormwood! You'll see the building as you drive past it 10 times, yet never be able to enter.

This was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. Food was delicious and the service was superb. Very recommended. Chef Omar is the best!
A great experience! We celebrated my bday and of course we went with their "Celebration" 7 course menu. All the items were great and staff always attentive.
Spent a special night with one of my besties celebrating our birthdays at Wormwood. From the moment we arrived they made of feel special. The food was delicious and quite creative as well as the mocktails. We shared three different dishes which included a starter, a salad and an entree. it was just the right amount of food. A wonderful evening.
One of our new favourites, such a cosy little place! We really appreciated the innovative twist on french classics and the cocktails were equally divine! The staff are very warm and attentive also. Thank you so much Jo for making our evening so special :)

Start to finish-- such a lovely night. We went here as a whim on a date night and were very impressed.
Staff was extremely attentive, professional and knowledgeable (such as I would expect in a Michelin level restraunt-- such a lovely surprise).
Food was absolutely delicious. The Scallops, Beef Tartare, and Lamb were true standouts.
Their liquer and wine list was impressive (just the Absinthe list alone!!).
We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us!

I came here for my birthday. I had the three course menu and I was happy with every single one of my selections: the watermelon salad, the steak and the deconstructed créeme brûlée. I was welcomed by every single person I interacted with, all do whom acknowledged my birthday, from the hostess to the person clearing my plates. I was offered a tasting of their delicious rose upon arrival, When I left, everyone said happy birthday as I was walking out. So cute! But more importantly, they were genuinely nice. Nothing seemed forced. They made great recommendations and answered all of my questions. The Cabernet Sauvignon was the perfect pairing to my steak. The ambiance was vibrant and joyful. Can't wait to be back!
Enjoyed brunch here but it was $80, that was just my portion. The Omelette was good with Humboldt Fog cheese but hardly worth $80. I did have one Mimosa (Passion fruit) and Poisson Cru and a Buckwheat Crepe. So pricey. Not the best French food I have ever had, but I would go back to try dinner. Great atmosphere though.

We've been here a few times for dinner and have been pretty happy with our experience so far. We brought some friends visiting out of town, and unfortunately the service was extremely slow. We waited for an hour for our food and the restaurant was half empty. I ordered Croque Monsieur which was mediocre and bread was mostly dry. This was my second time dining for brunch and both experiences were alright. I'd recommend this place for dinner but you can probably find something better for brunch.
Good food, good service, probably a birthday party next to us was unavoidable for several hours?

Come with me into a slow decent to pergatory as I tell you about our experience here last night. We walked in and the place seemed nice. We were taken to a deserted back room with a private bar.
They asked me if we were celebrating anything and I said my birthday. Nothing was done with that information so was it just for personal interest?
The drinks arrived and they were fine. At this point we still had hope in our eyes.
We settled on the smaller tasting menu with an appetizer, main, and dessert each. The appetizer was a beef tartar that tasted like it had been placed in a vat of vinegar and forgotten there only to be ressurectred with a pound of salt before it to arrived to our table. It came presented on a bone with carrots and micro greens resembling gifilte fish. A jus was poured over it in order to make it more mildly palatable, but I could barely eat 2 bites.
Still, we had hope.
Next came the worst of all. It was a pasta dish that would make my Italian nonna roll over in her grave. She would come alive just to use her rolling pin on the chef who allowed it to make it past the pass. It was green, likely from envy of pasta across the street at the pizza hut, and tasted like locker room socks that were pulverized and turned into a foam. The gummy chewiness of the dish really added to the torturous experience.
Still, we had hope.
I turned to my husband's dish that looked beautiful but was cold unseasoned quarters of meat with a gluey topping over what was potentially a makeshift latka. I took one bite and knew my intestines would be paying for this later.
At this point, being waterboarded on my birthday would have been a more enjoyable experience.
I had lost all hope.
Send it back you ask? How does someone correct this? This was the caliber. Every single thing was so wrong and my mouth was already in the fermentation process from the first dish. Not even industrial ecolab spray could get that taste out.
Thankfully the meal was nearing its end with the grand finale. A creme brule. Although, it was not a creme brule, it was creme with some melted sugar toile and the largest portion of hard pieces of sliced guava as if they were trying to frantically clean house of guava. Within the creme were rubbery bits of...? (I really hope not rubber).
We left with broken hearts and severe indigestion.

Legitimately inedible. I hate posting this, because we were excited to be here. Cocktails were decent (solid at best), but food has been inedible or forcibly eaten as we just want to leave and don't want to ask them to remake it. The beef was cold and the potato was the worst latke I've ever eaten. The surprise guava on the creme brulee was tough and similarly inedible. Will stop at in n out for a half decent meal on the way home.

I've been to multiple countries around the world, visited many states, cities, and islands. This is the BEST food I've tasted in a long while. I picked the place on a whim before a concert and I was not expecting this AMAZING experience. EAT HERE!!!

I had very high hopes for this place and have been wanting to try it for a while. We went for brunch and had our hopes on ordering the croque as one of the options. They did not have it. Bummer but okay we will order other things. The biggest mistakes this restaurant made were the poor service and not putting our entrees down at the same time. I was served a very cold omelet and my husband had to wait another 15-20 minutes for his cold brunch. No one ever checked to see how our food was and when I flagged people down to see why our entrees could not come at the same time, I just got a "sorry, I don't know" with a shoulder shrug. This was not a $50 dollar brunch. This was a $150 brunch. Service was poor and someone should have done more than blatantly not care. This place is cute and has potential but based on the service and cold overpriced food, we won't be back.
