This restaurant had a great atmosphere! Our server was wonderful and we really enjoyed our food.

I love Wormwood! They have the most charming back patio. I felt like I was in Europe at a café. The food is absolutely delicious. I had the three course menu. The salad was amazing. I always get the fish dish. I'm never disappointed.

I really love the Wormwood Celebration Meal $120 with an add on of The Green Fairy (absinthe) cocktail and white wine. I treated myself to a Valentine's Day gift from me to me. I love 6 out of 7 of the courses (I think the steak tartare, while yummy, could be a little bit less chunky and finer with a bit more acid). The patio with heat lamps is just a fantastic atmosphere. Jade (restaurant manager), Kara (or Cara sorry if I'm spelling it wrong, great server), Rania (great server), Lucas (not sure his title but he always checks on me when he's there), Martin (bartender) and Omar (chef)...the whole staff makes me feel like a VIP. I LOVE the main fish course (barramundi with pistachio crust). I still need to try the tarte oignon and the savory macaron. Treat yourself, if you can, to something special! They also have a la carte and a $60 prix fix. You won't regret it. P.S. I thought Wormwood was a little strange for a restaurant name as who wants to think of worms at a meal. But Wormwood (the plant) is the source of absinthe, hence the name as they have a long list of absinthe selections.

Food was okay, flavors have dropped off. Was my favorite restaurant. Steak was unsalted the gnocchi was overly creamy and chewy. Price: way overpriced for the quality Service: slow very slow. Took 2 hrs for dinner for 2 people. We ordered quickly but the kitchen was quite far behind. Seating: was in the patio is was tight so tight everytime someone got up from either table next to us they had their rear end over our table. Definite mood killer haha. Probably won't be back, I'm super bummed.

Of three plates, a chicken plate was charcoal, a steak plate was gristle and my lamb was very dry. My date, with several years experience preparing French dishes from tiny galleys for dinners with high expectations gave the staff and manager a detailed critique. But the owners and the kitchen should have known all these things Sorry

We had dinner with another couple and we all enjoyed our dinner. We did the pre fix menu and it was a great experience from appetizers, main course and dessert. This is the second time in two weeks.

We had a reservation and upon an on time arrival were told our table wasn't ready and it would be 30-45 minutes before we could be seated. They offered us the patio however after rain the entire day, it was wet and didn't quite have the same ambience. For NYE, it was a pre fixe menu which we were good with, the food was good but not outstanding for what you would expect for that kind of experience

The only taste in my mouth is a bad one.
100 percent no parking and no paid lot nearby. 30 minutes of circling around, we went to juniper and ivy and it was wonderful. If you want to be angry and late for your reservation... go to wormwood! You'll see the building as you drive past it 10 times, yet never be able to enter.

This was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. Food was delicious and the service was superb. Very recommended. Chef Omar is the best!

A great experience! We celebrated my bday and of course we went with their "Celebration" 7 course menu. All the items were great and staff always attentive.

Spent a special night with one of my besties celebrating our birthdays at Wormwood. From the moment we arrived they made of feel special. The food was delicious and quite creative as well as the mocktails. We shared three different dishes which included a starter, a salad and an entree. it was just the right amount of food. A wonderful evening.

One of our new favourites, such a cosy little place! We really appreciated the innovative twist on french classics and the cocktails were equally divine! The staff are very warm and attentive also. Thank you so much Jo for making our evening so special :)

Start to finish-- such a lovely night. We went here as a whim on a date night and were very impressed.

Staff was extremely attentive, professional and knowledgeable (such as I would expect in a Michelin level restraunt-- such a lovely surprise).

Food was absolutely delicious. The Scallops, Beef Tartare, and Lamb were true standouts.

Their liquer and wine list was impressive (just the Absinthe list alone!!).

We will definitely be back! Thank you for having us!

I came here for my birthday. I had the three course menu and I was happy with every single one of my selections: the watermelon salad, the steak and the deconstructed créeme brûlée. I was welcomed by every single person I interacted with, all do whom acknowledged my birthday, from the hostess to the person clearing my plates. I was offered a tasting of their delicious rose upon arrival, When I left, everyone said happy birthday as I was walking out. So cute! But more importantly, they were genuinely nice. Nothing seemed forced. They made great recommendations and answered all of my questions. The Cabernet Sauvignon was the perfect pairing to my steak. The ambiance was vibrant and joyful. Can't wait to be back!

Enjoyed brunch here but it was $80, that was just my portion. The Omelette was good with Humboldt Fog cheese but hardly worth $80. I did have one Mimosa (Passion fruit) and Poisson Cru and a Buckwheat Crepe. So pricey. Not the best French food I have ever had, but I would go back to try dinner. Great atmosphere though.
