“Food was good. However, the cashiers were busy cleaning up for the night vs taking care of customers. It wasn’t late, either. It was around 7:30 or 7:45 on a Sunday. The cleaners they use are very strong. Very pinesol or something like that. Glad I got food to go because I wouldn’t want to have smelled the cleaners during dinner. Dining room had zero vibe.“

“Excellent little cafe in a business park. I ordered in person and my order was ready in under 5 minutes. Service was courteous and efficient. I ordered the turkey club, lightly toasted, and it was perfectly executed. Avocado was perfectly ripe and the lettuce and tomato were super fresh. Turkey was high quality and condiments were just right. Prices are very reasonable. I think I paid about $11 total and portions were generous.“

“The food was fantastic at this local window service style eatery. We had the quesadilla and fish wrap. Large portions, the fries were fried and seasoned amazingly.

As other have said this place is inside in the back of the bar. I was greeted by a lady who was friendly, answered questions I had about the menu, made the food, and brought it to me in the bar where I waited. We took it to go. The whole thing took about 10 minutes or less. We were there in an off time during the week so the bar was practically empty.

Don't let the look or location fool you. Walk over and check this place out. I would eat here many more times.“

“This Place is a hidden gem. Walking home and saw the recently opened "THE KABOB GRILL". I went in for an exquisite dinner. I had the chicken kabob- with my discount it was less than $15 for a full plate or rice, salad, yogurt and a pita. The plate comes with a grilled tomato and I requested some of their hot sauce. You should too! There is a big parking lot across the street and I was told they offer free valet.“

“The Amex Hilton card quarterly $60 benefit was almost expired for this quarter. I found NY Garden Deli on a Reddit sub that showed the credit working at their location.

GPS helped us to easily find the small deli along the side of the Hilton Garden Inn Del Mar. Just like the other reviews all say…the ladies in the deli are friendly and helpful.

We ordered Philly Steak and Italian subs. The sandwiches took about ten minutes to be freshly prepared. Both sandwiches were delicious…I might have like the Philly beat but the Italian was very good also.

I will return again when in town and maybe try the tasty sounding Ahi Tuna Salad next time. Breakfast items,soft drinks, beer and wine also avaliable as well as some desserts and sweets.

Tip: Quarterly Amex Hilton card $60
Credit is a good way to get some tasty subs.

“I’ve heard of this place and wanted to give this place a try. Service was alright. Walked in the store; no greeting or smile and no “I can help you whenever you are ready”. There was just an awkward moment of us standing there and couldn’t tell if the person was ready to take our orders or what. Anyhow not the best service.
I got a turkey panini which comes with chips or fruit - wasn’t asked which one I wanted. The panini was good but is it worth coming back? Probably not, that’s because of the service“

“We had an amazing experience here over the summer ('25), still thinking about it six months or so later. The kebabs, the tomatoes, the rice... And very friendly staff as well as a relaxing, sophisticated but comfortable atmosphere. A highlight of our visit to SD.“

“Every Table meal subscription is amazing. Delicious, healthy foods at a very fair price. 5 dinners only $38. The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit. I just had the chicken schwarma bowl and it was soooo good. Tasted just like a home cooked meal. Highly recommend“
