Yanni's Bar & Grill

One of our very FAVORITE spots to drop in on our own, to bring by guests we want to take care of, or to have large gatherings - family and business. We have been coming here for many years, from just 2 of us to the largest being 45 of us for a business function with excellent catering and service. The food is always spot on, and they have one of the best stocked bars in the city - items you rarely find elsewhere. The staff is highly skilled and they flow very well as a team, you always feel taken care of here. Highly recommend Yanni's!

My mom and I enjoyed a late lunch at Yanni's. We split a Scripps Ranch Club and the grilled chicken was delicious. I started eating the chicken out of the sandwich. The chicken soup was also very tasty. We ordered a small Caesar salad with proscuitto. The salad was crisp and lightly dressed. The proscuitto wasn't needed to make the salad better. The soup and sandwich was the clear winner. Delicious! Our server, Nate, was polite, spot on, and kind to my mom.

I accompanied my parents and two business associates to dinner. Of the party of 5, only three people (persons A, B, and C) initially received their order. Person D received part of their order, while Person E received nothing at all for at least 15 minutes. When Person E's food finally arrived, it was unpleasantly cool and seemed to have waited somewhere before being brought to the table. Person D's side order eventually arrived after she had completed the rest of her meal. When the bill arrived, the side order was comp'd, but no apologies or explanations had been made for the late delivery of E's entire meal or D's side order. We were a party of 5 who expected to eat together and were unable to. Person E was finishing his meal long after everyone had finished theirs. It was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and disappointing, since we had recommended the venue.

Yanni's has very good food. The sandwich I got was very tasty. I am giving 4 stars because it is pricy. My only question would be, does the experience outweigh the value?

Definitely a nice, warm atmosphere to have a great meal with a friend or group of friends. Lunch time is light, yet the dinner crowd and menu makes for a much more meaningful event. I am due to check out the bar with more scrutiny - I was unable to get a close look at the setup since I was dining in a more-intimate area of the restaurant. Parking is a bit jumbled since they are close by to many other businesses and a hotel. Overall I recommend having a plate here. Enjoy sharing the appetizers as these were quite memorable, too

Food was fantastic and so was the service. Seriously, even if you hate beets (like me) try the beets and feta.

Definitely try the fried calamari appetizer! One of the best in town, they serve it with fried green beans, carrots and pepperocinis on top, super light and crispy calamari to die for (sorry I didn’t take a pic). I tried the bouillabaisse, and it was delicious! I don’t like mussels so they were fine with omitting that and adding more clams for me. The broth was very tasty and it was filled with salmon, clams, calamari. Yum!

Met a group of friends to catch up. Had a great time! Food was outstanding and the service was great. I had the salmon with salsa and I would have that again!! Also had raspberry sorbet that was so refreshing.
