We have been going to Yanni's for many years. Casual dinners and special family occasions. The experience is always great and the food is definitely a cut above and super tasty. The owner is often present and he definitely take pride in work. If you looking for something a little different and a really nice experience... Yanni's is a great place

Outside patio seating. I ordered a beet salad. Large portion plenty of beets. Lacking in taste.

Came to Yanni's twice in a week.

They do not have happy hour.

The Arancini was fantastic. The garlic fries are also quite good. The New York sandwich looked and tasted great, however, the baguette was very hard. It was like using two giant croutons to hold everything together.
My fries were not as fresh my second visit, but that can happen anywhere.
I will ask for them to be extra crispy next time.

The young girl with the pink hair was enthusiastic, helpful, and very nice to talk to. This is exactly the kind of employee that makes me want to return.

The female bartender made me a delicious Mai Tai and then a Floral Bombay Burst. I loved the Mai Tai. The Bombay Burst tasted fine, but there was too much pulp for my liking. I couldn't use a straw, it got clogged immediately.

Yanni's is a magnificent restaraunt that I would recommend to anyone.

Wonderful service, very organized and attentive. When planning our baby shower we came to take a look of the restaurant, try the menu for our event. Hugo was extremely helpful, introduced us to Yanni and we fell in love with the atmosphere. The food was exceptional, all our guest loved the shaded patio venue and their hospitality. Will definitely consider reserving for another event when the opportunity comes.

I really love this place! The food is always amazing — especially the mussels, they’re my favorite. The pasta is so good too, full of flavor and perfectly cooked, and their desserts are just wow 🤍

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and I especially love sitting outside — it’s such a nice, relaxed spot to enjoy a good meal. The staff is always friendly, which makes it even better.

Highly recommend if you’re in the mood for delicious Italian food and a cozy vibe! 🇮🇹✨

Yanni's is a great place for casual dining and drinks. Service is always great and I love the mussels and the bolognese ! Great suburban location in Scripps Ranch just off of the 15, so for us dwelling in the North County, no need to go downtown for hip and excellent Italian themed dining... Yanni's is an excellent choice!

Excellent service, good placefor a business lunch or family meal. Very good northern Italian food, excellent Frutti di Mare, salads, and planning to try the Greek next time. Indoor, bar, and patio dining.

Very good food on a very nice dog friendly patio. The patio was very nice and fully covered, looked like the type of patio you could use in the rain. It had a soft breeze blowing through it so it didn't feel stuffy, but it also wasn't a stiff breeze that would make it too cold.

They had a water bowl for our dogs, which was nice. The food came out very quickly. The service was very friendly and attentive. I appreciated that they bring bread and olive oil for the table, it seems more and more of a rarity to get free bread.

All of the food we had was excellent. The seafood risotto was minimal spice, just enough to remind you it said spicy on the menu. I'm not a fan of spicy food but I was able to more than handle this risotto.

Be sure to bring lactaid if you're lactose intolerant, because a lot of their sauces were very creamy. All the food tasted heavenly.

The desserts were definitely made there, or at least not your run of the mill straight from the freezer desserts. We quite enjoyed the cheesecake. The port wine reduction was hard to get off the plate and onto our forks, but it was worth the effort. That would be my one area for improvement: they should drizzle the reduction directly into the cheesecake for easier access.

All in all, I am sure we will be back here. The prices were definitely a little higher than many restaurants in the area, it the quality was well worth it. This would be a fantastic place to take the in-laws, or a first date, if you wanted to really impress them while still keeping the vibe fairly casual.

Yannis is a very charming, romantic place. I love their filet mignon and bruschetta, and last time I had the Mediterranean platter and baked chicken pizza with pesto—great if you need to share an appetizer among a large group of people. The service is always good. Convenient parking. Highly recommended!

I have eaten here many times and one of my favorites is the seafood of the seas In white wine sauce. Unfortunately, today’s dish was not up to its usual standard. I’m wondering if you’ve changed the dish?

Food was just fine for the price and the service was extremely slow. Wouldn't seen a waiter for 40 mins.

The food, customer service, and atmosphere is absolutely exceptional! Good variety on their menu that can satisfy anyone’s pallet. I’d definitely recommend their selection of pastas.
