I saw a cockroach on my plate.
Apart from this they take a long time. Not recommended.

Meh. All 5 salsas were quite bland. Refried beans were solid. Chips, carnitas taco, and pastor taco were okay. Not horrible place but wouldn’t return here.

Food is good when they're actually serving you! Most of the time they forget my order or take a long time or, today, they will close the whole store with no note and still accept online orders!

I’m in love with this charming little hole in the wall Mexican restaurant. All the food is amazing but especially the quesabirria tacos! Don’t miss out

Google Maps says they close at 11PM on Tuesdays. I ordered online and was told it would be ready by 10:35PM. I showed up at 10:30PM and they're closed. There's no hours posted either. I want a refund.

While I was living in North park San Diego , this was my most favorite Mexican restaurant spot by far. Their taco birria is second to none and though I’ve tried taco birria at so many other restaurants all over the country, none of them comes close to Yesenia. Will defo come back if I ever get to San Diego.

Taco Tuesday deals are pretty good, though I wouldn't recommend the chicken ones. Churros are nice

This is an awesome little Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu. It’s very casual, order at the counter type establishment. Tony cooks up amazing food. I recently started to use them for catering and it’s my new go to for parties. The food is such a crowd pleaser and the restaurant is super easy to work with. Just call them up a day or two in advance and tell them what you want, how many people and time you want to pick it up. The prices are always reasonable and everyone asks to where it is from. Perfect neighborhood taco spot too
