Cancelled our online order with no notification which we only found out when we arrived to pickup our order, then forgot ingredients in the burritos we ordered. Cashier was nice. Food was ok.
I moved into the neighborhood about 6 months ago and this is my go to spot for a burrito. You get a lot for your money too. The owner is always so nice when I go in. Go support a small local business.

This place has bomb burritos and salsas. Especially the green salsas. Their carne asada is great quality. Never any chewy gross pieces.
The issue is they’re NEVER open til the posted hours despite what it says on Google Maps and DoorDash. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve had an order canceled at like 8pm. Happens at least once a week because I (try to) order from them frequently. I hope the owner sees this so they can at least adjust their hours accordingly.

5 people including myself, got sick after eating here and my parents had to go to the hospital because of Gİ issues . This is most bad experience in my life

I ordered a carnitas tostada, it took too long, turned out the cashier was also the Cook 🤔. Further more, the carnitas were more fat than actual meat. I left the all the fat in the plate. At the end, I felt ripped out, $15 for a small tostada and a side of tortilla.

Service was excellent and fast! Food was authentic and delicious!! Low key one of the better Mexican spots in the area. BIG PLUS for having multiple types of salsas that you can get yourself rather then having to ask for extra salsa all the time!

Do not use app and worst customer service. Got charged for my food gave me a pick up time and the restaurant was not open. When I spoke to the employee to request a refund i was told to come back when owner was there. Horrible
Yesenia’s serves some of the most delicious and freshest Mexican food in San Diego. I’ve had the fish taco plate a few times now, and each time the quality and freshness have been outstanding, authentic and flavorful. The people are also very kind and care about their customers and the quality of the food they serve. I’m so happy this place is close to my new apartment. Thank you! ☺️
