The food was good and filling but was new territory flavor wise in terms of other asian soups. The service however was nowhere up to par and the mandatoey gradituity was outrageous given almost no customer service/rude staff. The food was nowhere near worth the price I payed and I would recommend spending money elsewhere. The restaurant was also very stuffy and stuff.

It's delicious, love to eat, and the children are greedy and crying.

Always my go to place. The service is nice the price is reasonable. Love the taser of the soup and impressed how they make everything cooked in perfect condition. Big five stars for their take out service. For fried skewers they cut off the sharp points, which is super thoughtful! This place always being fully packed but you won't regret for waiting.

This place is awesome! The wait was a bit long but understandable considering the quality of the food. I got 1 pound of food and it was enough to make me very full. I got the original bone broth and mild spice but be careful cause it was spicier than I expected! Overall, my food and experience was great! Definitely check it out

This is the 7th time that I've been here. The 1st time that I was here, I was brought by a friend. The 2nd time, I brought my boyfriend here (technically the 626 location), then I brought my family here the 3rd time. Then we liked it so much, we came 2 more times. Then I came with another friend after ice skating for the 6th time, and now I'm here again with my family. :) Needless to say, everything is DELICIOUS. I highly recommend the tilapia skewers. I love that I can get something different every time I come. The ambiance is great!

Visited Yin Tang again today and had a great meal. Today, I got Tom Yum as my soup base and am happy to report that it's yummy. My husband tried the curry today and his was good, too. We ordered 1.3lbs & 1.67lbs respectively, and I guess my eyes are bigger than my stomach because I had to take about half of mine to-go. I would've thought I'd learned my lesson from the last time just how filling it is, but alas, the toppings are tantalizing. Today, we got to try the skewers. The minimum order is 5, so we got 2 lamb, quail egg, enoki mushroom, and the buns. Medium spice level. Sooooo good! I love the cumin spice that it's coated in. The lamb skewer was tender and flavorful. The enoki was juicy. The bun got so crispy when fried, and it made the perfect "dessert" after finishing my hotpot. 5 skewers for $10 is a good deal, imo. (Some skewers are pricier than $1.99 each, though.) Employees are a bit reserved, but still so friendly here. I really like this restaurant.

If you want to sample authentic Chinese spicy cuisine, head of to this place. They have meat and veggies skewers that can be eaten alone or dipped in spicy soup. The place is not fancy but makes up with their the hot and spicy food. Usually very crowded during the day especially on weekends. Must try out

It's a great place to eat, also decent price. It's usually packed and a little bit of waiting for table but that's all good.

This place was good for the price it offers. It's not too expensive. I got a mountain of veggies and some seafood and quail eggs on the side. My total came out to roughly $26 after tax and I was stuffed afterwards. They have a ton of seafood, meat, and veggie options you can pick from to make your very own custom hotpot to your liking. It only took them about 10 minutes to bring my food out to me so that was nice because I didn't have to wait too long for my food. The restaurant itself is clean and it does get a bit crowded inside when it gets busy because the tables are close to each other and the walkways are narrow. The service was just ok here. I would still come here again to try out the fried food options they have. They deep fry it and it looks so good.

New Review - Amazing place for authentic Chinese street food - Malatang, Malaban and Zhachuan. As a Chinese, I’m so happy we have this in San Diego. If you love Chinese hotpot or spicy food, you should totally come to give a try. Of course you need to get a little study about this type of foods beforehand, since it’s different. But the flavor is sooooo good, the price is nice! I have been here for a lot of times and I’ll come back again and again.Previous review- I’m so happy Yintang Spicy Hot Pot comes to Mira Mesa! They have different flavors of the soup base you can choose, I chose a tomato soup base with is totally non spicy, and it is delicious! They have a lot of different items that you can choose, my favorite is fried Chinese doughnut, napa cabbage, beef slice and taro. And my husband chose all meat, haha. I orders my meal from Hungry Panda App to deliver which is very convenient.
