this location is disgusting, dirty and lacks from customer service, they only had one flavor available, ice cream machines were dirty and the toppings were all over the place, I wouldn’t recommend this place at all and if I could rate it zero stars I would
I went here to try and support a local club and not only did they only have 5 flavors, but when i go to get hard shell chocolate (right next to the register infront of a worker) it gets all over my brand new white shirt! the worker said that “just happens and you have to push it slowly” a warning or a sign would be nice, i don’t recommend anyone coming here, she didn’t even apologize to me, just said she’s sorry that happened and gestured to me, all she did to “compensate” was give us a couple free frozen yogurts, not like i ever want to go back there again.
If you want to choose between crazy flavors (vanilla and chocolate) come here because those are the only machines that work. The flavors can be good when they are actually in stock. I don’t know if it’s a problem with understaffing, not buying enough yogurt for the machines, having broken machines but this place really needs an upgrade
This spot in Clairemont benefits from a great location, conveniently surrounded by numerous restaurants. The yogurt itself is decent, and the topping selection offers a good variety to customize your treat. However, the limited number of yogurt flavors is a drawback, and many of the machines are unfortunately out of service, which detracts from the overall experience.
the store constantly has many of their machine closed and only offer a handful of flavors. some of those flavors are icy and/or a watery texture. they do have a lot of toppings though and usually all full. the customer service is fine. fix the amount of flavors and machines you operate
Hey, Krystina, this one is NOT individually owned!!! I found out that corporate owns it and have not stepped up for several years now to replace the machines!
Tried to give this location a chance again. We were there twice in the past 3 weeks and both times, including today they had half the machines closed. Only 6 flavors and 4 were plain tart, chocolate, strawberry, and vanilla. This is the norm for the location. I know they are all independently owned but the franchise needs to help this site.
Great shop to make your own creations. Only 3 inside tables but some outside. Better than coldstone

Soooooo I had the most messed up experience here the other night. I go here at least once a week and I have a service dog as I am epileptic and when I went in an employee, by the name of Athena told me I can’t have my dog with me in there which has never happened, I told her he’s my service dog and she said “that’s fine but you still can’t have him in here”… I basically was like “I’ll just get yogurt and be on my way, don’t want an issue” which she also denied. I then asked to speak to her manager who she started her FaceTime with by saying “this girl has a dog in here and it’s not a service dog”… and yes she was being serious. She wouldn’t let me speak to the manager directly but I did say in the background that I informed her he is a service animal in the beginning, which of course the manager let us carry on but this woman literally looked at me when I walked in (and my cute doggy that I didn’t think anyone could be angry after looking at) and chose anger, ignorance and negativity. I’ve never experienced something like this and I hope the manager can check the cameras and watch how insane this was. I kinda felt like I was on a prank show… she continued yelling (and I mean yelling) at my mom as we were leaving. She seemed like she was trying to fight us the whole time. I never got angry or reciprocated much as that’s what people like that want and I’m not interested in participating. I hope no person experiences anything like this ever. 1/28 @5:45/5:50pm this happened

Jan 2025 • I’m sharing a review again, 10 months after my first review. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. They still only have a few flavors. We’ve been going to Yogurt on the Rocks and Yogurtland in Del Mar. I’m hoping there will be a better Yogurtland in Clairemont someday.

Feb 2024 • This location introduced the first unpleasant experience I’ve ever had with Yogurtland. I’ve always thought highly of the brand and put it above others including Pinkberry, Menchies, etc. After moving to the neighborhood, this is the closest location for me. My favorite classic flavors are often missing. Yet I would come weekly hoping they will improve. It’s been a year and things have turned worse. Today 10 machines were broken. The 6 flavors they offered were icy and tasted a bit strange. Sadly I’m having to switch to Yogurt on the Rocks and Pinkberry. Their quality is consistent and offer much a better selection of flavors. I hope this location will revive. I still love Yogurtland, just not this location.

Strike 3. This place is terrible. Just like everyone says. Half the machines are broken or empty. Limited weird flavor. Flies buzzing around and landing on all the toppings. Girls working behind counter were friendly. Yogurt on the rocks in PB is a much better choice. I live close by Yogurtland so I gave it 1 more chance. Big mistake. Place is gross. Now I can wait for the cut and paste response from the owner....blah blah blah. Do something to actually fix the problems. Good lord.

It's been a while since I've come here and I'd rather I had not. Half the machines aren't being used and the ones that are, about half weren't working or were out of product.
A lot of people were trying to enjoy a treat here at the same time, but all were met with the crushing disappointment of having about 2 choices. Service was pretty much non-existent as well. Does anyone work here?
Came for my birthday reward, but it was pointless.
Go to Rockie's Frozen Yogurt nearby if you want quality, service and a HUGE amount of yogurt for the money!
Update: the employees just kicked everyone out from their outdoor tables 50 minutes before closing because they wanted to bring them in now and were practically pushing people out the door. It's clear the 2 employees workings only priority is to leave and do as little as humanly possible.
Wheelchair accessibility: ADA parking space and entrance ramp right in front of the door.

I’ve been coming around for a new months now with my son and we love how all most all the machines are on. The store always smells good , looks good and even the atmosphere is surprisingly positive. The ladies that work here just have the best customer service must explain why I always come back .
