It pains me to write this, but damn the food was god awful. We just ordered 25-30 minutes ago the place was a ghost town. I would have drove back, but I’m not trying to battle city lights with light traffic right now. When we got home the bag was dripping wet from their new Udon noodles. The udon was way over seasoned and I made a go at it, but it’s to salty. My wife orange chicken was very lightly coated with any flavor so fried baking batter over chicken was the taste. Sadly, my sweet chili shrimp was experiencing the same thing. Dude even the soda tasted off or maybe the heavy blast of salted food just sent my taste buds into a fit. Either way everything cost me almost $30 dollars and I’m hating my choice Yoshinoya over Panda right now. ?

Great!!! I love this place. This location has "FRESH food and rice" that is tasty and not hard or old. I can tell the difference. Well worth coming. I come all the way from La Mesa and prefer this location over Spring Valley. Although they are great too, but the rice in City Heights is surprisingly so much more fresher. Also, friendly service at City Heights.. Whatever City Heights is doing, keep doing it!! 5 STARS!!

Food was not edible. The brown rice was i all i could eat. The teriayaki chicken was microwaved with sauce squeezed over the top, the vegetables were so gross i spit them out. The regular beef was also just microwaved and thrown on top. I’d say it resembled airplane food except airplane food is better. The only reason for two stars was for how polite the staff was in the drive through.

Had a bowl for dinner. Ordering was quick, but the wait for food was long for dine in and drive through. It was the same months ago. On the upside, they are oooking it only after you order.

The experience I had was terrible. The customer service was beyond horrible. I ordered my food through curbside and it said it would be done by 12:06pm. I never got my food until I went inside and asked the employee. She said I didn't know you were outside. We were not paying attention. I said I'm here is the app not working? The other employee checks and says yes she said she was here. She didn't care at all. I was so angry I said thank you for the lousy service as I leave. She then goes to the drive through window and yells what the f did you say? I have no words for how terrible this was.

ZEROOO STARS!!!!!! Website says they close at 10pm I got there at 9:20pm and no one was taking orders on the drive thru. I waited 10 mins and saw about 4 workers inside cleaning one employee told me the close at 9 and the Shift crew manager told me they close at 9:30pm. I guess yoshinoya let's their employees make their own closing schedule. Never going back to that place again and I'm a regular customer. So sad.

The Drive-thru attendant was very nice and she was very attentative 8/31/21 around 8pm . The food was very good. I had not been to Yoshinoya, since the mid-nineties.I was very impressed by the menu and my Family and I will be returning very soon.

Most disappointing Yoshinoya Experience ever... Usually, they are very on their game but tonite I think they had like the "C" or "D" Team on deck. Lengthy wait in drive-thru, (even though line was short). Food was cold, no condiments, (even though I specifically asked for them with my order, as I was tendering payment) Just overall sad this time, hope they straighten themselves out... Spring Valley isn't that far a drive...

This is not Japanese food... it's Chinese, and the food is a low quality version of panda express.

Love the food and now it's drive thru. So it made it all that much better

2 hour wait time for 4 combo bowls. The portion is extremely small, seems like the ingredients come out of the cooks paycheck.

Waited 20mins in drive thru. Entire plate was soaking in sauce from organ chicken and they hardly gave me any meat. Highly disappointed.

The service was so slow, waited at least 40 minutes in the drive thru to get our food, we only had 3 cars ahead of us, it took 9 minutes for someone to take our order and from there on 31 minutes, I ordered one diet and regular coke and she didn't even marked them down witch one was the diet, I asked for forks and napkins and she told us that everything was inside the bag and it was NOT, I have been.a Yoshinoya lover since I used to go down by the LACC on Vermont L.A. and this is nothing like the rest of them, this place needs real customer service and training, food was not even the same, not sure if I was upset for waiting and maybe my food was not tasting the same as I was expecting but this place is probably a franchise or maybe run by bad management, this place is not like the other ones.My service day was 05/18/2021 around 8:00pm in case management wants to review their cameras.

Look at the portion on this thing. Other yoshinoya at least give a decent amount.

I tried their teriyaki chicken bowl for the first time, and it was super duper awesome! They had about 3 to 4 different sauces to choose from. I got all 4! Lol. ? I used a coupon that advertised a buy one get one free deal. Guess what, I did just that! Fed the momma bear with that deal. I'd suggest this place to anyone. :p
