This business is closed and shut down. I drove by it today and saw all the windows covered and surrounded by big, locked black gates...

It pains me to write this, but damn the food was god awful. We just ordered 25-30 minutes ago the place was a ghost town. I would have drove back, but I’m not trying to battle city lights with light traffic right now. When we got home the bag was dripping wet from their new Udon noodles. The udon was way over seasoned and I made a go at it, but it’s to salty. My wife orange chicken was very lightly coated with any flavor so fried baking batter over chicken was the taste. Sadly, my sweet chili shrimp was experiencing the same thing. Dude even the soda tasted off or maybe the heavy blast of salted food just sent my taste buds into a fit. Either way everything cost me almost $30 dollars and I’m hating my choice Yoshinoya over Panda right now. ?

Great!!! I love this place. This location has "FRESH food and rice" that is tasty and not hard or old. I can tell the difference. Well worth coming. I come all the way from La Mesa and prefer this location over Spring Valley. Although they are great too, but the rice in City Heights is surprisingly so much more fresher. Also, friendly service at City Heights.. Whatever City Heights is doing, keep doing it!! 5 STARS!!

Food was not edible. The brown rice was i all i could eat. The teriayaki chicken was microwaved with sauce squeezed over the top, the vegetables were so gross i spit them out. The regular beef was also just microwaved and thrown on top. I’d say it resembled airplane food except airplane food is better. The only reason for two stars was for how polite the staff was in the drive through.

First time here and the customer service was excellent. They were very friendly and open to questions to help me order. Definitely coming back again

Very disappointed they have discontinued the "almost fried rice". The white rice leaves their bowls quite bland. Hope they bring it back.

Had a bowl for dinner. Ordering was quick, but the wait for food was long for dine in and drive through. It was the same months ago. On the upside, they are oooking it only after you order.

Slowest service ever. Come verify yourself. I've been here twice and they close before the closing hour. Ran out of white rice. Customer service decent. But the wait will kill you.

The experience I had was terrible. The customer service was beyond horrible. I ordered my food through curbside and it said it would be done by 12:06pm. I never got my food until I went inside and asked the employee. She said I didn't know you were outside. We were not paying attention. I said I'm here is the app not working? The other employee checks and says yes she said she was here. She didn't care at all. I was so angry I said thank you for the lousy service as I leave. She then goes to the drive through window and yells what the f did you say? I have no words for how terrible this was.

Customer service was excellent when I went tonight. Nice young lady with the head covering went above and beyond with her service and answered all our questions.

ZEROOO STARS!!!!!! Website says they close at 10pm I got there at 9:20pm and no one was taking orders on the drive thru. I waited 10 mins and saw about 4 workers inside cleaning one employee told me the close at 9 and the Shift crew manager told me they close at 9:30pm. I guess yoshinoya let's their employees make their own closing schedule. Never going back to that place again and I'm a regular customer. So sad.

The Drive-thru attendant was very nice and she was very attentative 8/31/21 around 8pm . The food was very good. I had not been to Yoshinoya, since the mid-nineties.I was very impressed by the menu and my Family and I will be returning very soon.

I think There poisoning people. I know there real disrespect when a real back woman walks in and they make me wait 20mins before I order, I should really think about really just not eating there.

I've been going to Yoshinoya locations in LA since I was young so this location was the best option in San Diego. The service here is really slow despite the lack of customers. What's worst than the slow service, however, is lack of quality control and care. I've gotten my orders incorrect on numerous occasions, sometimes receiving orders from what can only presume from another customer's.

They wait was pretty long and they messed up the order. As I was eating I thought it was good and then I noticed that there was a hair in it. I looked around in the food more and there was another hair in the rice! not going back.
