Youngblood is such a cute and charming speakeasy, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully curated from start to finish. The three-course drink menu is creative and so much fun.

This is not a place for food, but the drinks are so delicious! I need to go back to be able to try the rest of the drinks. That's basically the reason why I didn't give 5 stars, I really would wish more opportunity to try the other drinks. Overall I am in love with the place.

Fantastic place! Amazing cocktails, awesome ambiance/vibe, and spectacular service! Alexandra was phenomenal, personable, and just an absolute delight to socialize with. All the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. I was on a business trip and it was a great way to cap off the trip. Will definitely be back!

The service was great. They were fast and attentive. The drinks were ok. I think it was a bit overpriced but I enjoyed the experience and really appreciate the attention to detail.

Youngblood is an incredible experience. It's definitely my wife and I's favorite cocktail bar in San Diego. We have been a few times over the years and have received some of the most incredible drinks we've ever had here. It's small and quiet and an intimate experience that really gives you a chance to talk with your bartender and get your own unique drink. Just as an FYI they have slightly changed their experience, it used to be a 3 course omakase style drink experience where each drink was was personalized and curated for you. Now the 1st and 3rd course are menu item selections and the 2nd course is a unique personal bartender designed drink. While this was a slight disappointment to see the change, this does mean they are able to make more unique ingredients that are specifically crafted for those drinks. The garnish for one of the drinks was a caramelized banana on some caramel brittle toffee which was perfectly paired with the spicy drink. Something as elaborate as that can't be made on the fly so the new drink menu does allow for some better experiences. It has some up sides and downsides but it's still an enjoyable drink experience. Highly recommend trying to get an early time or late time reservation when it's not as already full up, it's gives a better time to interact with the staff and you've usually got a little more space as well.

Such a unique and memorable experience! I loved the idea of having a three-course cocktail menu — it felt so creative and personalized. Instead of a fixed list, the bartender asked about my taste preferences and crafted drinks that matched perfectly, which made the whole experience fresh and fun. The cocktails themselves were delicious, and the interior design was beautiful.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be nice to have a few small snack options to pair with the drinks, since the standard menu includes three cocktails. Overall, a fantastic bar that I’d definitely recommend!

Good experience but would not go back, the drinks were not that great and it was nothing out of the ordinary. I loved the lighting.

AMAZING experience! One for the books for my husband and I we were going out of our comfort zone! Felt so warm and relaxed! Chris and Tommy are outgoing people . We're making plans of coming back soon!

Beautiful space, and the sticky rice jello shot was amazing. The dealers choice round of cocktails were some of the best we've ever had!

This was my second visit and the first for the rest of my group. It was just as good as I remembered and they were able to accommodate one of our group via mocktails. 10 out 10 would recommend and I'll likely go again on my next visit to San Diego.

The Butterscotch Budino - Is quite possibly the best cocktail I've had in a long time... and I seek these things out ;)

I should start by saying that we have LOVED Youngblood since its opening several years ago. We have been numerous times and have taken many out of town guests with us over the years and have had wonderful experiences. This time, however, was not anything like what we encountered in the past. The horrible experience we had started even before the doors opened at 6 p.m. We were at the head of the line and had a few other people behind us. In the past, we had been told to wait until the hostess opened up the “disguised” entry before entering. However, this time at 6:01 p.m. a highly entitled Gen Z girl rudely rushed past us, shoved open the door and beckoned for her boyfriend to join her at the hostess desk. The hostess rewarded this rude, bad behavior by seating her and her companion at the bar. We were next. The hostess checked us in and seated our party of 4 at a nice corner table. Once seated, we saw 4 menus on the table. This was a change from our past experience, where there were no menus, only bartenders interviewing the customers to find out likes/dislikes, etc. so that they could create a personal custom cocktail based on feedback they obtained. We were joined shortly after sitting down by one of the bartenders on duty that evening named Sierra. She was not very welcoming to us and started rattling off her spiel in a voice so low and fast that we could barely comprehend what she was saying. We had questions about the menu, and when we asked if we could ask her a question about it she was very rude and said she “would get to that”. My companion remarked that Sierra seemed to have an attitude, and she said to him “you seem to have an attitude.” Wow, we are the customers. Does CH Management know that their employee speaks to their customers like that? Overall, the drinks were just ok, nothing special like we had in the past, and the prices had increased from $65 per person to $85 per person. With poor service like that we won't be going back.

The cocktails weren't as tasty as expected, the bartender splashed me twice while making the drinks and didn't even apologize.
