Great cocktail tasting menu concept/speakeasy. The interior is so well designed and curated as well which adds to the ambiance. The mixologists were thoughtful and walked us through everything. Will definitely be back!
Knowledgeable bartenders and an intimate experience. It was a lovely space and their cocktail were top notch. Great flavor profiles.
The ambiance and vibe were amazing. Loved all of the design details, the glasses, the music, the lighting, all of that was perfect. The staff were great too, friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. But the drinks we only okay. There were four of us, so we tried 12 different drinks. A few were creative and interactive and really special, but the rest were mid. For that price point, I expected higher quality, more fresh herbs and muddled fruit for example. It was a nice, unhurried experience but considering with tip it was almost $400 for the four of us, I expected more.
This used to be a very cool place with great drinks and great service. Their now limited cocktail menu and unfriendly bartendress really ruins the experience. After several visits would never recommend again.
I used to love this place. It was special because they made three different cocktails to your preference for $75. Now? It's $85 to only be able to choose one, the other two are off a set menu. The dessert drink was horrible. In addition, the hostess was extremely rude. The menu doesn't really explain what drinks are, so you rely on your server. Ours said what was in our drinks so quickly and unclear that we had no idea what we were drinking. When we asked questions about our cocktails or tried to explain what we thought we liked we were met with a bad attitude and sass. Truly a really awful experience for it to be so expensive. I'm so sad and disappointed. Just find a cute cocktail bar elsewhere.
Youngblood is such a cute and charming speakeasy, and the whole experience feels thoughtfully curated from start to finish. The three-course drink menu is creative and so much fun.
This is not a place for food, but the drinks are so delicious! I need to go back to be able to try the rest of the drinks. That's basically the reason why I didn't give 5 stars, I really would wish more opportunity to try the other drinks. Overall I am in love with the place.
Fantastic place! Amazing cocktails, awesome ambiance/vibe, and spectacular service! Alexandra was phenomenal, personable, and just an absolute delight to socialize with. All the bartenders are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate. I was on a business trip and it was a great way to cap off the trip. Will definitely be back!
The service was great. They were fast and attentive. The drinks were ok. I think it was a bit overpriced but I enjoyed the experience and really appreciate the attention to detail.
Youngblood is an incredible experience. It's definitely my wife and I's favorite cocktail bar in San Diego. We have been a few times over the years and have received some of the most incredible drinks we've ever had here. It's small and quiet and an intimate experience that really gives you a chance to talk with your bartender and get your own unique drink. Just as an FYI they have slightly changed their experience, it used to be a 3 course omakase style drink experience where each drink was was personalized and curated for you. Now the 1st and 3rd course are menu item selections and the 2nd course is a unique personal bartender designed drink. While this was a slight disappointment to see the change, this does mean they are able to make more unique ingredients that are specifically crafted for those drinks. The garnish for one of the drinks was a caramelized banana on some caramel brittle toffee which was perfectly paired with the spicy drink. Something as elaborate as that can't be made on the fly so the new drink menu does allow for some better experiences. It has some up sides and downsides but it's still an enjoyable drink experience. Highly recommend trying to get an early time or late time reservation when it's not as already full up, it's gives a better time to interact with the staff and you've usually got a little more space as well.

Such a unique and memorable experience! I loved the idea of having a three-course cocktail menu — it felt so creative and personalized. Instead of a fixed list, the bartender asked about my taste preferences and crafted drinks that matched perfectly, which made the whole experience fresh and fun. The cocktails themselves were delicious, and the interior design was beautiful.
If I could suggest one thing, it would be nice to have a few small snack options to pair with the drinks, since the standard menu includes three cocktails. Overall, a fantastic bar that I’d definitely recommend!

Good experience but would not go back, the drinks were not that great and it was nothing out of the ordinary. I loved the lighting.
AMAZING experience! One for the books for my husband and I we were going out of our comfort zone! Felt so warm and relaxed! Chris and Tommy are outgoing people . We're making plans of coming back soon!
Beautiful space, and the sticky rice jello shot was amazing. The dealers choice round of cocktails were some of the best we've ever had!
