I’ve had a few good experiences, but that does not make up for STEALING from your customers. The waitress made a couple comments that rubbed me the wrong way and wasn’t attentive to our needs. I only tipped 15%, not thinking much of it. When I checked my bank statement two days later against my receipt I saw the waitress decided to tip herself 22%. I usually tip 25%, but when a waitress makes my dining experienced is subpar I don’t think 15% is unfair.

Walked in and it was empty. No greeting. Went to the bathroom thinking they were just temporarily in the back. Walked back out waited a minute and then left once I saw a lady sitting on a crate behind the counter. They have a ringing door... no excuse to not greet and seat your customers.Maybe because it's a Tuesday afternoon? I don't think I'll try it again any time soon and I just moved here.

We visited right after sunset on a Friday evening and were at one of the first tables. Several others trickled in as we enjoyed our meal, but it never got super crowded, which we appreciated. Keep in mind our visit was in January, I'd expect June energy is probably different,I didn't have high expectations. I've passed this spot dozens of times and always suggest trying something else. I'm sorry Zen 5, I'm not sure why I was so opposed to coming here. It's now one of my fave affordable sushi spots, however prices are way higher if you're getting it delivered or ordering online. Dining in is definitely the way to go. We really enjoyed our rolls. The spicy yellowtail wasn't as spicy/flavorful as we had wanted, but that was the only mild disappointment. The specialty rolls were great. Everything tasted fresh! The staff was friendly and everything was quick. I'm sure we'll be back!

This was our first time at Zen 5 and it was fantastic! We were on the fence between a few of the rolls, so we asked our server which rolls he liked. He recommended the Rob roll, so we got that one and it was a great choice! All the rolls were fresh and flavorful! They had reggae playing at a nice volume. Loud enough to enjoy but not so loud that you couldn't conversate. We will definitely be back.

The fish was old. Fishy and disgusting. I had to take it off my rainbow roll. Which was equally disgusting. We will never come here again. The service was horrible and the food was just off today and in my opinion not servable. Not only that someone in their back room marked xtra boxes. So order was wrong. Just gross!

I will never go here again! On top of the huge price increase on their rolls. There was a huge rat running around the restaurant last time I went in. My boyfriend told the waitress who then told the owner and he did nothing! He didn't seem to care at all. I understand some things are out of your control but not even an apology or any kind of reaction to make us feel like he cared enough to try to prevent it from happening again. This place used to be one of my go to's but I would not recommend going.
Food was great! They were short staffed though so it took a long time.

Food was not great. Quality of sushi and shrimp was on the low end. The entire roll pieces were cut oddly and crumbled when trying to pick them up with chopsticks. Asked for green tea and they just gave me Costco Tea packets…
