Restaurant Reeked of cleaning products. Couldn't eat our food because of the smell. Mopping the floors while we were sitting there. Food was cold

I've been coming here for over 3 years now and tried just about everything on the menu and it's safe to say it's all good. You know a Mexican restaurant is good when the clientele consists of mainly Hispanic people. Btw, the male cook in the back is the best, he definitely knows what he's doing, I always make sure to show him my gratitude and he always lights up with joy...keep on shinning compa!

I have been going to Chile Bandido since it originally opened. Since then it has been through two ownerships. There are three things about this place that keep me coming back. Customer service, consistency, and their sauce. Their customer service is number one. There are two employees that really stand out. Yaime always answers the phone with lots of energy, always gets my orders right, and always makes sure I get sent on my way with utensils, napkins, and sauce. This may not seem like a big deal but I can't tell you the number of restaurants that fail at this simple task. I have picked up my orders from other places only to get to my destination and realize I don't have anything I need to enjoy my meal. The chef is the other employee that is out of this world. Everytime I have been to this place my food has been consistent. I know that when I order something it will be exactly the way I had it the last time. Which is my second favorite feature. In my opinion consistency is one of the hardest things to achieve in a restaurant but when you do it makes for an amazing overall guest experience. Third would have to being their sauce. Their green sauce is very tasty. I have always said that sauces can make and break restaurants. I always order their bacon breakfast burrito and it is great BUT with that green sauce it is phenomenal. It is very on the mild side and although I like spicy I rather have flavor than spicy. Check it out!

It is with a heavy heart I have to come at this restaurant like this. I live around the corner and have been coming to Chile Bandido several times a week for the past two years, all of my housemates would do the same. Like an old friend, when we were hungry, Chile Bandido was there for us every single time with a generous burrito at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, things aren't the way they used to be and this restaurant has lost my business as well as every other member of my household's business all due to poor business practices. They are under new ownership and have been for a while, and are technically called "Ana's" now, I'm not sure why they continue to use the old signage if that's no longer the name of the restaurant. The new owner hovers behind the cashier, making the entire ordering process awkward. The prices for our regular item have steadily climbed up to nearly 2 dollars more than they were initially, that adds up if you're eating there all the time like we all used to. I wouldn't even mind paying more to support a small business, even if it is under new ownership, the unfamiliarity isn't the issue here. The new owners don't seem to care about retaining their regular clientele. Additionally, the owner's daughter who works the register seems to be new to the customer service industry, or at least, doesn't seem enthused to be in it because she was nothing but rude to me the last time I was there. And that's why I haven't been back, I take my business elsewhere these days. If you dont mind poor customer service and hiked up prices for mediocre Mexican food, come on by, but I'm telling you, the good ol' days of this restaurant seem to be long gone, and if their prices continue to increase then it'll be a sure sign that this Bandido has already fled the town.
