Overall rating: 3/5 stars.
The Food Court at the Costco in San Dimas has definitely seen better days. The biggest issue was the food qualityβboth the cheese and pepperoni pizzas were severely overcooked, with dark brown, brittle cheese and an excessive amount of grease.
Service was underwhelming. The staff seemed low-energy and stretched thin, especially compared to the typically upbeat and helpful employees inside the warehouse.
The layout also needs improvement. The drinks and condiments area is cramped and positioned too close to the seating, creating congestion and an awkward flow. Seating itself is limited, and its proximity to the Tire Center doesnβt make for the most pleasant dining environment.
Overall, this Food Court needs attention and improvement to meet the usual Costco standards.

They never have enough people working the counter. They changed the system. So you have to order first and then stand in line. But it takes just as long or longer to get your order than it did before they put in the self ordering system. I think they put that system in and then scaled back on the staff which sucks for the customer because costco created friction in my experience, even if you are saving one head count per day in the food court.
Also I used to love costco pizza and now it's just bland. They changed the sauce, they change the dough to lesser quality. They hardly give you any cheese now. They don't have the combo pizza anymore. The pepperonis dry, the sausage is dry.
Sure, it's a great deal for ten bucks. But damn, I remember when costco pizza was delicious. And now it's not. FYI, I was an OG cashier for 2-years in the mid 80s at the #4 store in Inglewood. It was Price Club back then. Ahhh, good times. Loved that job. π

The Costco food court offers unbeatable value with tasty favorites like hot dogs, pizza, and chicken bakes. The $1.50 hot dog and soda combo is a standout deal. While seating can be limited during busy times, the service is quick and efficient. Great spot for a budget-friendly, satisfying bite after shopping.
Same delicious hot dogs and a hot dog sticks out. The end of the bun by 1 in pizza by the slice is also delicious
