Ahi Poke is always a great experience! Specially here in Sylmar with so limited restaurant options, Marlon, Katherine, and Teresa are super nice, they make every visit feel so welcoming, they always greet me with a smile and take the time to chat and see how my day goes, they noticetheir customers. I love how they suggest new items for me to try; they really know me now, and our family's food choices, and the menu and make great recommendations every time. Their kindness and great service make this place one of my favorites.
I always call for pick up orders, or eat there if I’m nearby the area. I love their chicken teriyaki bowl super tasty (half rice, half salad) add toppings offered edamame, onions, tuna salad, 😋 avocado etc... I love their boba, and variety of drink options and their miso soup, everything is super tasty! The portions are generous, and they have plenty of other toppings to customize your bowl. The staff is funny, helpful, and fast at preparing food while still making sure everything is done right. I hate when you go to restaurants and the person attending you doesn’t even smile, here, they’re always on it. Highly recommend!

I didn't think I could fall in live again and then I walked in here, placed my order and bam, my tasted said hallelujah 🙌🏽. The wait time was ridiculous over twenty minutes while the employees were doing pick up orders. I completely understand it was not their fault it’s just a scheduling issue, but other than the the food was good and the place was clean, the employees were nice after the wait.

I was a customer of Ahipoki and came to this place every 2days and bought 3 Hawaiian Beef BBQ Grill with drinks. But today was my last visit! They changed menu and removed Beef, prices little bit higher now and they put less food (half spoon) than before. I tried to ask add little bit more food and the guy told me that he will charge extra. I never come again to this place.
It was my first time here and I would come again the food was good and the staff was very kind even though it was my first time.She helped me pick my bowl.

The workers were super nice to me and food tasted really good however, i ended up with slight food poisoning an hour after i ate the food. My order was the mini white rice bowl with raw tuna, crab salad, seaweed, tobiko, celantro, and kimchi. If you ever go eat here, i don’t recommend getting raw fish with your poke bowl because you don’t want to experience what happened to me.

Food was alright. Not enough taste from the fish provided in my bowl. No amount of sauce saves it. Kel Noodles saved the meal for me
Service could be better. Received a smaller bowl portion then I paid for due to lack of training and communication amongst the workers behind the desk. This was my first time ordering something for myself and the worker serving me was not making ot easier. Stared at me in silence without making things clearer for me even after telling them I'm lost as to what steps to take in preparation of my meal. Didn't clarify my options nor did they make it clear as to where the option names were located.
For the atmosphere, I suggest taking it to go. There was a huge roach inside the restaurant and I made a note of it to the workers. The issue was not addressed nor brought up to the other customers attention. They simply ignore my complaint and continued to mess up my order.
