20 mins for food to be called was on side for 10 mins. Cashier comes around counter to help person with ebt at kiosks touching screen and her card from her chest went back to food no gloves no washed hands. MANAGER not coming to her when I asked for a refund. This place is trash. Needs management and classes.

Great EBT š
Temp of restaurant was too cold. Ordered dine-in but was packaged to-go but fine because we decided to eat outside since it was freezing in the restaurant. Ordered a chicken leg a la carte for my 10 year old daughter and they put her chicken leg in my meal plate without telling me. We were already sitting down outside and realized her chicken leg wasnāt in the bag. I had to pack up my order to go ask about the chicken leg since I donāt leave my daughter by herself. Girl at the counter said we packed it in your meal. I ordered it l a carte and not a 3 piece for a reason. I didnāt say anything about that to her. Went back outside open my plate and took the chicken leg from plate and gave to my daughter. We are ready to eat; no fork provided. Had to tell my daughter to ask for one which I donāt like sending her places without me but all of our food was already out in the table. We start eating and realize they didnāt give us napkins either. I decided to do without because I didnāt want to leave my daughter alone and didnāt want to send her in AGAIN for something else. It was such an inconvenience to have to go into the store to ask for items that should have been provided in the first place and communicated to me, especially because I was alone with my daughter and we were eating outside. There was no attention to detail. Also the tables table outside were dirty, mind you I know they are outside table but they also need to included in the cleaning rotation.
Today (7/31/2025) I went through the drive-through for lunch. The woman who took my order and gave me my food was SO nice I had to give a write up. Everyone documents their complaints (rightfully so) but someone who is so nice and friendly deserves a shout out as well. Itās easy to forget how just a really nice person can make your day a little better. Thank you so much!

Burnt Corn & Crunchy Surprises ā A Pollo Loco Win in San Fernando
After a long, late day at work last week, I swung by Pollo Loco in San Fernando just before closing. I ordered my usual, and when I got to the window, they told me they were out of corn. I couldnāt help but ask, āCome on, how do you run out of corn?ā
Thatās when a young lady asked the kitchen guy what was up ā and he told her the corn was burnt.
I figured, what the hell ā Iāve had worse. I told them, āLet me try it anyway. Donāt worry, Iām okay with it.ā
And hereās the twistā¦
That āburntā corn turned out to be some of the best corn Iāve ever had. Smoky, flavorful, and perfectly roasted ā it added something special to the meal I didnāt expect.
Before I pulled away, the young man surprised me again ā he handed me a few free crunchy tacos. Honestly, I never wouldāve ordered those on my own. But after that night? Iām a fan for life.
In a city like Los Angeles, where great food is everywhere, I never expected to have such a memorable dinner in San Fernando ā from burnt corn, no less.
Thank you to the team at Pollo Loco. You didnāt just serve a meal ā you made my night.

Very rude customer service !
I had asked for a tostada by itself with nothing on it, and Erick S. at the drive thru raises his voice saying āclassic or double chicken tostadaā and again I repeat by itself completely ignores what I said and says to pull forward and charges me a classic chicken tostada with everything on it. Not mad at the mistake mad and frustrated about the way he approached us which is not okay ! Please focus on your attitude and the way youāre speaking to your costumers !
