I usually stop here while passing through. Very welcoming atmosphere and a good menu. Never had a bad meal. the prices are a smidge high, got coffee and a huevos rancheros plate and paid $27 for one person.

Good flavor, good service, the pancakes have good flavor and size, the omelette is highly recommended, I ordered it with bacon and peppers and it was great. The bad thing is the size of the place, on the weekend you will have to wait a long time

Parking: The site has its own parking

For me, the prices are high.
To finish it, they charge you up to the cash register to bring the food.....and it is not the price of the box, but I have never seen them charge you for it......Sony for the comment...

Bad customer service, the owner or manager not sure what she was but she wasn't in uniform and took charge of the mistake that was made on the bill. I had found hair in my French Toast and she wasn't being compliant and was giving me a hard time. Very unprofessional and never apologized for the fact there was hair on my plate. while I was eating the lady kept staring at me making me feel uncomfortable. I never leave bad reviews but didn't like how unprofessionally the situation was being handled.

Tl;dr: The taste is incredibly bland and doesn't stand out in a sea of other restaurants in the area that serve equivalent meals. Absolutely not worth the prices they offer.

I decided to go after so many years of seeing this area really packed during breakfast hours. It was a local business that even went on to return after a fire broke out and wiped out the building a few years ago, so I was both curious and excited. Unfortunately for me, it turned out to be a very big disappointment.

Me and a friend ordered similar things: an omelet with hash browns and meat (he got sausage, I got turkey bacon), a single order of grain pancakes with blueberries, and coffee. For my omelet, I got tomatoes, spinach, and green peppers. That was probably one of the most bland omelets I've ever tasted. Most other places in the area tend to use specific spices or sauces to give the taste a kick and make it unique, giving you a reason to return there as opposed to another location. But that tasted less than what the ingredients promised, notably due to a lack of salt. There was nothing special. It tasted exactly like something you can make at home for WAY cheaper. The hash browns were arguably worse because they tasted like a whisper of even a potato. We had to pour quite a bit of salt to actually get some flavouring out of it. The bacon and sausages (as well as the coffee) were practically the only things that actually had flavour to it.

Alright, so the breakfast platter was bland but the name of the place is called Heavenly Pancake, so the pancakes have got to be good, right? That was the most disappointing aspect of the meal. When we ordered the pancakes, we were expecting a nice stack with blueberries integrated into the actual pancakes similar to Lola's kitchen, UCrave, and Denny's all just down the street. Nope. It was just the pancakes and some blueberries thrown on top. Nothing inside, not underneath pancake maybe hiding by accident. It was honestly rather pathetic. And the pancakes themselves just tasted like your most bland recipe of flour, eggs, sugar, and milk. Nothing special like a hint of cinnamon here, or a taste of vanilla there, maybe a nice nutty flavour awaiting. It was so by-the-numbers that I'm still left wondering if they just purchase the dough premade in bulk.

So what about the service. It was alright at best, and at worst bad. Not because the waiters were rude, but rather because they seemed WAY too distracted talking. When we were ready to order or trying to get a refill of coffee, we practically had to wave our arms like an inflatable tube man to get their attentions. And when we did manage to get their attention, we would have to wait around 5-10 minutes to actually get what we asked for. Normally, I'd say it's alright because the waiters or waitresses are busy in other areas, but with this place being so tiny, it was more distraction and ignorance than accidental.

All in all, with flavours that are painfully bland and generic, service that takes WAY longer and more effort to get the attention of, a really cramped environment, a waiting time that ranges from 30-60 minutes to get a seat, and a price tag of just under $30 per person I would say it is not worth coming here. Why is it not a 1 star with all the negatives? Again, nothing is inherently awful about the area. It's just that there's nothing actually good about it. The only offense I took from here are the high prices for what I could buy at a grocery store premade for probably 1/2 the price.

I was craving pancakes and we decided to try this place. The food was below average and overpriced. There was no AC and we were roasting in the restaurant. Flies flying around. We were disappointed with the service and food.
