I come by here at least once a week, the bread and pastries are baked fresh daily and the workers always treat you like family. It doesn't look like much from outside but it's my go-to local bakery. I would highly recommend the jalapeno bread with creme cheese, but come early because they run out often by noon.
The bolillo was soft and tasty and the empanadas de Calabasa are the best I've ever had of good lord. They also have jars of Mexican honey for sale, yay. And better yet Carrillos Menudo is close by, bonus.
This place has been there as long as I can remember ! The sweet bread is great you will not be disappointed ! My grandfather uses to take me there as a kid in the 1960s I am 67 and a grandfather myself now .
