Quite a drive from LA but we think it's worth it because the food here is very good. They opened quite early in the morning and we went for breakfast. Drinks are amazing. The fries are really good. Fried chicken is also very delicious. The waffle was my favorite. They also have donuts, which are also delicious. Server was very friendly and looked very happy. A lot of seating inside.

I usually come to this restaurant and it’s always good, but this time the service was the worst I’ve ever experienced.

Over hyped and service is bad. The cook is some weird aggressive person that should not be allowed to yell at patrons. Went a few times but after a bad visit with other family members question what happens in the kitchen. Not recommended for families or children. This place is over priced chicken nuggets. Go to North Ridge for a much better environment.

I had a very disappointing experience at Senders. While I was simply taking a moment to look over the menu, the Asian gentleman working there looked at me as if I wasn’t going to buy anything. When I grabbed a cup of water that was displayed out front for customers, he made it seem like a problem because I hadn’t ordered yet. His tone was loud and disrespectful, even though I’m in my late 20s I was treated like a kid who needed a “reality check.” Especially mentioning my name incorrectly twice while correcting him he said “OH WELL” what kinda customer service is that
After I finally ordered and paid, he presented the tip screen as if it were mandatory, which felt very pushy. To make things worse, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet I saw him treat an older customer with far more respect.
Overall, the atmosphere felt rude and unwelcoming. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable for simply deciding on their order or grabbing a cup of water. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to others.

My wife and I came here after church for breakfast one day. And I even had this place saved on my Google maps as an eatery that I wanted to try, and I'm glad I did!
We ordered the chicken and waffles and those were so good!
That chicken was so well and evenly seasoned that I didn't even need ketchup. I tried it with ketchup and it completely took the flavor out of the chicken!
The waffles were nice and fluffy too! I also love that they have free refills!
The owner even came up to us at one point and gave us free ice cream!
Unfortunately, I did hear that they changed their hours from opening at 9 am to opening at 10 am. Which I guess that's fine I'll just have to wait an extra 30 minutes after church to go eat their.
Definitely will go back again!

It was good but it could be better. Unfortunately, my loaded fries and chicken sandwich came out cold. I ordered mild for the fries and there was no spice at all. The coleslaw and sauce is really good, wish it came with a little more. $15 for the fries seems like a good deal, it fed 2 people. The sandwich on the other hand was pretty small and didn’t come with fries so seems a bit pricy for what we got.

Let's face it- when it comes to finding an innovative place to eat either with good value or good flavor, our little city fails to impress. So one day I discovered Sender- snack dab in the middle of town and I'm so happy that this place has made it into my gastrosphere!
The burgers are pretty special, the fries crisp. I don't know if this place is independent or a chain, I just hope it is a success because I want to keep coming back repeatedly.
The burgers are good the donuts look well worth the price.
This was my first time trying Senders and I was pleasantly surprised at the food and location. It's easy to find and offers plenty of parking. The menu is large enough to offer a variety of options for different tastes, but small enough to keep the quality high. The atmosphere is street-cool, with vibrant colors on the walls, donut baking competition shows and cartoons on the TVs, and modern music ranging from hip-hop to EDM playing. Our checkout person was hospitable, though it isn't a service restaurant as you order at the front and seat yourself. In other words, it’s a trendy burger joint.
I tried the Senders Spicy Sando at the highest spice level and really enjoyed it! The spice gave flavor without burning your mouth outright, building overtime with each bite. Their sauce helped reduce some of the spice level and added a tanginess to the sandwich, which you can adjust to your preference since it comes in a packet on the side. The portion size of the chicken was as expected, but there were way too many fries for a single meal. The fries were extremely crispy and well seasoned with a Cajun mix, but on the saltier side. The sweet ketchup helped mellow it out nicely.
I also ordered the cookies and cream donut, which had a tasty glaze, but the donut itself was dry. The same was true for the chocolate chip cookies. I could tell they made them much earlier in the day and let them sit out until I arrived in the afternoon around 2:30. While they advertise that they're made fresh in the morning, they don't hold up into the afternoon, so it might be a good idea to make fresh batches in the afternoon. The pink lemonade was tasty, but too sweet for my preference, though, I don't typically drink sugary drinks.
