My experience at tortas ahogadas was great.. unfortunately I did not try a torta.... My friend and I went with the molcajete and it comes with 2 fountain drinks... Comes with meat,chicken,shrimp, sausage and a side of really good beans....salsa is not that spicy for people that don't like spice... Your able to enjou the food without burning your mouth..They also have aguas frescas and they also have milkshakes... Cashier was really nice to us... Took our order .. we asked...
I went on vacation to the San Fernando Valley and we found this place, I ate Torta Ahogada Taco Dorado and Jericalla, everything was delicious, it reminded me so much of my native Jalisco. Where I live I can't find this food, so I enjoyed it very much.
I love the leg tacos, the roast beef tacos with a handmade tortilla, the molcajete is delicious too, the pozole leaves a lot to be desired, and the Menudo. The food has very generous portions and their champurrado is delicious. The service is good and it has parking.
