I go to 1011 for one thing only: Roasted Buckwheat Milk Tea. With this I get Tapioca and Grass Jelly. I even prefer the non dairy milk that come with it. It has the perfect viscosity to carry the tea flavor.

In other boba shops, Tapioca is called Boba, but here, the specialty is a lighter colored, chewier tapioca. I dont know another shop that makes this, and it’s my favorite. Likewise, I dont know of another shop that makes Roasted Buckwheat Tea. The flavor is unique. That roasted flavor really comes through, and it’s always brewed the perfect strength. I like, too, that it has no caffeine. So I can drink it any time I want. I just wish 1011 had a shop over on the Richmond side. I would be there all the time!

Fairly innocuous storefront, and a snoopy themed interior. They make a pretty good boba milk tea, and use non-dairy milk as their default.

I was in the Sunset district with some friends and wanted to try a boba spot I hadn’t been to before. I got the classic winter melon lemon fruit tea with tapioca pearls at 50% sugar and no ice. It was delicious and well balanced - still very sweet even at 50% sweetness. They have only one online ordering kiosk in the store, so it might be a bit of a wait to pick up drinks and/or snacks, but it’s worth it. The shop is very cute, and there’s some seating for while you wait to pick up your order.

My favorites are the Taiwan Milk Tea & Lavender Milk Tea.Make sure you order ahead to save time and get to sipping! Otherwise, it takes longer to order at the kiosk depending on the time of day you go.

I hope this place stays lowkey because it is truly one of the bests (; their milk tea with their homemade boba is healthier and

My favorite boba shop in the Sunset. I like that they have so many caffeine-free options and a selection of both classic and less common drinks and toppings. Personal faves are the buckwheat milk tea and the passionfruit lemon tea w/ aiyu

Dietary restrictions: Lots of caffeine-free options
