Had booked a table for ten. They gave us a table at the end of the room away from heaters. They didn't even turn on the heaters even when we said it was cold. Hostess wasn't polite. Very poor choice of food for vegetarians. We just had couple of drinks and left. There is no view and ambience is very basic
I booked a table for two at Rooftop 25 for a special romantic date, and my reservation was confirmed via email the day before. I don't live anywhere near San Francisco, so I went out of my way—hiring a babysitter and paying for transportation—only to arrive and be told the rooftop was closed for a private event. There was zero notice beforehand, no apology from the staff, and no effort to make things right. This was a complete waste of time and money. If they had informed me in advance, I could have made other plans. The lack of communication and professionalism is unacceptable. If you're considering this place, beware—your reservation might mean nothing. I won't be giving them another chance.
Food was okay but THAT GUAC was the best GUAC I've ever had!!! Wish I knew the recipe! It was empty when we arrived and then 2 groups of people showed up afterwards and could've sat anywhere else but chose to sit right next to us. The dinning area was really nice service was great music was poppin. I would go again but only for a drink and THAT GUAC!!
Had reserved a table for 4 to celebrate a birthday. No one was at the restaurant when we got there at 7 pm on a Friday evening. The place was cold. Poor ambiance, ghost town feeling. The food was average and did not match up to the hyped reviews. Overall, not a place we would go again as we were very disappointed.
Initially it was a slow start. We arrived early and asked for a coffee drink. Once seated no one came to our table. After 5+ min we asked for help and was told to order from the register which we had not been told when we arrived. There was only one other table seated so someone passing our table should have noticed sooner we were looking for help. After this initial snafu we were tended to quickly and had a great experience. Of the three appetizers we ordered the artichokes were under cooked but we liked the pretzel bites and the guacamole. The salmon was really good. The veggie choice was different; very colorful but not as tasty as the salmon. The Octopus and Duck raviolis were delicious. With as many restaurant choices in SF we can't say for sure that we will go back.
Huge space , vegetarian options , private room available

Great place for a casual business mingles or friends gatherings. Parking instructions are provided in their website. Order is open over the counter. The service team will bring food over to your table if they're not too busy. Bring your windbreaker- super windy in north bay even in a summer season.
Chef Matthew Dolan is an artist. Went to the restaurant for their House of the Dragon-themed feast. Food was excellent. Check out his book on seafood recipes Simply Fish. The chef came and hung out with us between courses of the dinner. Had a great time!

Atmosphere, food and service were wonderful. I especially appreciated help with a Gift Card purchased five years ago.

Food wasn't bad but I don't like waiting on myself when I have to pay fairly high prices for food. Dejection was small and not terribly healthy options. It's also really noisy.
Great hidden gem close to the giants stadium for a pre-game bite or an after work drink with friends.
My friends, my lovely wife and myself had a great experience at Rooftop 25 lusk. The staff was very accommodating, friendly and yet professional. The food was delicious and not too expensive. The spicy Margarita was delicious as well as the other mix drinks. The rooftop has heaters when it gets chilly and they have retractable roof. Great place to celebrate a casual event.
For the most part, we enjoyed our first meal there recently. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the chef-owner checked up on us as well -- a nice touch. It's also a nice and attractive open-air space. The only downsides: you need to walk up multiple flights up stairs, and if you want or need an elevator, you need to call a number to ask someone to come down and let you in. When we called the number, no one answered, so one of us walked up to find someone to come down and give us access to the elevator. Everyone should have easy access to the elevator and not have to call a phone number and wait. The elevator is only steps away from the stairs but behind a locked door. They also had live music the day we were there for brunch, which is normally a nice touch, but it was far too loud to have a conversation without shouting. The band was using speakers in what is a fairly small space. An acoustic set would have been much better in this context.
The Rooftop is a nice place for lunch on a sunny day - unfortunately it was threatening to rain on the day we had lunch. The food is good and the service, solid but there were only a few tables occupied and things may change if it's busy. More generally, the energy was good. Be aware of the two plus flight of stairs - walk up.
