One of my now go to places for HK baked goods. Some orders come with a discounted drink for two bucks. If you order a drink that doesn't come with the meal, it's 2x the size! 2x the cost as well 😂 either way the drinks are good. Food is great and some of the fastest when it comes to baked stuff. Some stuff I don't recommend are the porridge which was bland and curry rice since there's more pepper than meat.
It's what you'd expect from a typical Hong Kong Cafe. Hearty and comfort food from your childhood if you're Chinese. Portions are on the smaller side, so if you're thinking about sharing, I hope you're dining with no more than 1-2 extra person, max. Needless to say, most of the food here seems to be individual portioning. Price seems fair for the most part, but what would normally be the sharable items like chow fun and fried rice isn't the best bang...
We tried their Three items for $29.99 menu (rice $1.50 per person extra). Cash only. It was decent but pricy. Curry beef stew and fish with bok choy was good. We were disappointed in the serving size of salt and pepper beef ribs but we knew going in that ribs were mostly bones anyways.
