Came here for a work holiday party. The staff said they were an easy place to work with. Friendly bartenders. Other staff were great at clearing tables and bringing out rounds of food quickly. Beef bites were amazing. The samosas were also really good. Sazerac was made well. They have a good bourbon selection from redemption to bib and Tucker to baby Jane.

Came here for a private event. Slowest bartenders I’ve seen in a while, food came out piece meal. Don’t book private events here.

I had a very disappointing experience at 620 Jones during a hosted event and would not recommend it.

Groups attending the same event were scheduled to arrive at different times. I don’t know who made that decision, but the manager repeatedly used it as an excuse for why seating couldn’t be adjusted and why service was slow, instead of actually trying to fix the situation.

We were seated outside in the cold with no heaters and barely enough space. It was extremely uncomfortable. When we asked to be moved, the manager said it wasn’t possible and offered no alternatives and repeatedly said he couldn’t control the weather. In San Francisco, cold weather during outdoor seating is completely predictable, and failing to plan for that is a management issue.

The manager was dismissive and unapologetic when concerns were raised, which made everything worse. Service was also very slow, with long waits before anyone came to our table, clearly showing inadequate staffing for an event of this size. But the manager said they were staffed accordingly…

Because of how cold it was, I didn’t even order anything and ended up leaving early. Someone at our table was visibly shivering. Overall, this was a poorly managed experience, and I’d strongly caution anyone considering this place, especially for events.

Love the food and atmosphere here — and drag shows are a bonus on Sundays! Prices are good too. Ask for the breakfast burrito with Beyond instead of bacon, delish!!! Service runs hot (great/fun) and cold (nice but never there), only reason I’m not giving the place 5 stars. I wish I could give 4.5.

I went here to have happy hour with my co-workers and this place absolutely delivered on the delicious food and appetizers. Plenty of drink options and cocktails.

Grabbed dinner and drinks at 620 Jones with friends recently. The outdoor patio is beautifully designed with great lighting and greenery, honestly one of the nicest outdoor spaces I’ve seen. The Double Pepperoni Pizza was excellent perfectly crispy crust, generous toppings, just really solid. The Crispy Cauliflower was more forgettable, though the hot honey helped. The major issue? The Tenderloin location. I spotted a rat running through the patio during our meal, which pretty much killed the vibe. It’s not the restaurant’s fault, but it’s hard to ignore. The food and ambiance are there, but the neighborhood is a real problem. I’d consider going back for takeout or indoor seating, but probably won’t be returning to that patio.

I went here yesterday with 5 friends for the drag brunch, and while the performers were amazing and absolutely the highlight of the morning, my food and service were an absolute disaster.

I ordered the smash burger, and what I was served was essentially raw in parts and inedible. My first bite seemed fine, but the second and third tasted off and when I tore it open, the patty was pink and undercooked in some spots, gray in others. Minutes later, I was so nauseous I had to leave the table to go throw up in the bathroom.

While I was gone, my friends spoke to the server and explained what happened. Instead of showing concern, she got defensive and claimed she’d “ask the cook.” When I came back, still visibly sick and shaken, she came right up in my face and asked if I wanted something else from the menu. I said no, and explained that I had literally just thrown up. Her response? A dismissive, “Well, I don’t know what you want, that’s how we cook our burgers here—do you want a club soda or something?” No apology. No accountability. Nothing but attitude.

To make matters worse, one of my friends overheard her talking badly about us to other staff, accusing us of just trying to get a free burger. Really?? We had a big tab, tipped the queens generously during the show, and were fully prepared to pay for everything we ordered. The issue wasn’t money—it was that I was served unsafe food and then treated horribly when I got sick.

When it came time to pay, the server dragged her feet bringing the bill, then snatched my friend’s card right out of his hand without saying a word. The receipt had a 20% automatic gratuity added (standard for large groups, but in this case totally undeserved), AND they even tacked on a charge for “bread and butter” that we never ordered or received. At that point, we were all so over it that we just paid and left.

What should have been a fun Sunday brunch turned into a humiliating and upsetting experience. Between being served raw food, getting physically sick, and then being openly disrespected and gossiped about by the server, this was hands-down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

The performers deserve all the love in the world, but the restaurant staff and management should be ashamed of how this was handled. I will never be coming back, and I strongly recommend others think twice before dining here.

The queens, the atmosphere, outdoor seating and the drinks are all wonder but do not come here expecting the food to be good. Sad to say all of our dishes were not only disappointing to say the least but the pork belly was straight up inedible and it is apparently a common issue of theirs. Visit 620 Jones with a full belly but hungry for drinks and entertainment.

They threw a party on Saturday and the event itself was fun, however, the bathroom situation was deplorable. My friend had to leave to pee and pay 50 bucks again to get inside because there was no re-entry. If an event with more than 300 people is going to be thrown at 620 Jones there should be some trough urinals so men could relieve themselves, that way the lines get shorter for women as well, it was a free for all and it seems as though folks spent more time waiting at the bathroom line rather than enjoying the music 🎶 Trough urinals cost like 300 bucks on Amazon... Also, if they allowed re-entry perhaps folks could have gone out to relieve themselves in bathrooms nearby without having to pay 50 bucks to get back in. I have never felt trapped at a venue before and this Saturday it happened at 620 Jones. As always, I will change the rating if there is a change for the next show. Safety 1st guys! This review is only for parties, we did not dine out.
