TLDR: great HK milk tea and green onion sponge cake
The green onion sponge cake and the HK milk tea were top notch. The sweetness and sponginess of the cake plus the ham and green onion were great contrast. The milk tea was strong in tea flavor and though a bit too sweet, they added a bit more tea for me. The egg tart though was not great. The pastry was flaky but very dense and heavy.

Grab and go chinese baked goods - egg tarts, bbq buns, pineapple buns, cookies, etc. Egg tarts were fresh - smooth filling, flaky and pretty thin crust. Not too sweet, not too eggy. Very puffy pineapple buns - would rec those with custard filling since the regular ones can be a bit plain. No seats inside. Very reasonable prices.

My favorite bun here is their twist on the ham and egg bun. They use spam, a slice of seaweed and a crispy sesame brioche bun. The egg tarts are good too. Their pork bun lacks a lot of pork.If you want to order a cake in advance, they have a booklet of designs. They can't do all the designs in the book. We wanted to get the One Piece design, but they didn't have the design kit.

My first visit I wasn't impressed. The pork bun was pretty "light" with meat. But, I liked the "egg custard tart" (蛋挞)
I tried it again recently but this time I ordered the BBQ Pork Pineapple bun. Very very good!!! I also ordered the Curry pastry. Pretty hood too.
I'll be checking in again. Seems to be getting better and better.

This place has combined two of my favorite things in the world: Pineapple Buns, and BBQ Pork buns, into the Pineapple BBQ Pork Bun. Words cannot describe the pleasure of consuming one of these things. If there was a Nobel prize for Innovations in Baking, I would award it to this place every year. I don’t care if other bakeries make it. This is the one.
