Loved cooking wagyu on the hot stone and really good, black truffle edamame good and perfectly salted and sushi was really fresh.
It was a wonderful dining experience. The staff was very attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was excellent. The fish was very fresh and creative combos. I took my niece and she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Food was good but very slow service. We waited over 40 minutes for two rolls. The experience as also ruined by a group of 4 very loud gentlemen yelling, laughing, banging on tables and howling in the most obnoxious way. I suspect one of them is either the owner or manager as he was wearing the merch and helped himself to wine. I will not be coming back.

๐ฏ๐ต Ace Wasabi San Francisco is a popular sushi bar in Marina district. My party and I enjoyed the service and atmosphere while seated at the bar area, and our dinner was perfectly paired with a Sapporo, the oldest brand of beer in Japan. We will likely return. โ โ โ โ โ

If u are here for happy hours, the deal is deceptive. A sushi roll of 5 pieces are selling for 8 dollars during happy hours. The price seems good at first glance but they don't include the portion size: that's how they get u. Ask before u order! We spent $85 for 3 ppl, and we walked out unsatisfied. The only decent deal: Sashimi deal: $29 for 20 pieces are only limited once per party, regardless of your party size. Everything else on the menu was p much a rip off for us.
We always love happy hour and early Sunday dinner! The food is delicious and they do a great job and getting us in and out. A bonus when the weather is nice and we can sit outside with the dog!
Loved this place back in my 20s as a go-to spot for a fun, lively sushi dining experience. While the food is still pretty solid, I was disappointed in our recent experience overall.
Favorite spot in the marina. Skip all these pizza restaurants that are all the same and head to ace wasabi for some truly delicious signature rolls. My favorites are spice girls and U2. U2 is not on the menu anymore but you can still ask for it

I am a huge fan of the vibe. The sushi was okay and decently pricey - not the biggest fan of the free bird roll but liked the 49er. Will definitely be coming back! Perfect for a date night or fun dinner with friends

The food here is so good, and the menu is massive. So, do a little homework before coming in or youโll be stuck trying to figure out what goes with what lol. I usually go salty/umami to start, spicy for the main, and something a little sweet like an Old Fashioned on the side. Whiskey based cocktails always makes Japanese food hit harder in the best way.
At Ace Wasabi though, I went full spice mode, blistered shishito peppers, the Shake It Off roll, and Hakushu 12 Year straight up. Absolute fire. If you want to mix it up, grab a Tokyo Martini to kick things off, then switch to Hakushu with the food so you still have whiskey to sip along with you food. It really pulls out those peppery shishito notes.

best sushi ever! we got the bring it on sampler and every roll was delicious and complimented eachother so well
Ace Wasabi's Rock N Roll Sushi in San Francisco is an absolute must-visit for any sushi enthusiast โ it's worth every single penny and then some! This place truly lives up to its name, delivering a vibrant dining experience with phenomenal food and excellent service. We made sure to arrive for their fantastic Happy Hour from 5-6 PM (and trust me, reservations are highly recommended because this spot gets busy!). Our culinary journey began with the fries appetizer, which was surprisingly a huge hit and perfectly crispy. The main event, however, was the sushi, and it was nothing short of amazing. The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, a true highlight. We then dove into their sampler sushi rolls, and every single one was delicious: the 2Pac Roll, Three Amigos Roll, The Captain Roll, and the Shinjuku. My personal favorite was The Captain Roll; its spicy seared mayo added a unique and delightful smokiness that I absolutely adored. My husband, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of the 2Pac Roll. Throughout our meal, the service was excellent โ attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly in tune with the lively atmosphere. Ace Wasabi's delivers on all fronts: incredible, fresh sushi, a fun ambiance, and top-notch service. We're already planning our next visit!
Went to Ace Sushi for dinner - was expecting great sushi based on the reviews and price points but average at best. Fish was not super fresh and rolls lacked unique flavor profiles. Chicken karaage was basically just fried chicken tenders. Edamame was not seasoned well.

Fun and loud sushi restaurant. The margaritas were so good! The nigiri I ordered were kind of small/skinny compared to what we get in our home town, but the flavor was good. I did very much appreciate their thoughtfulness towards food allergies! My kids enjoyed their rolls and had fun playing bingo.
