best sushi ever! we got the bring it on sampler and every roll was delicious and complimented eachother so well
Ace Wasabi's Rock N Roll Sushi in San Francisco is an absolute must-visit for any sushi enthusiast โ it's worth every single penny and then some! This place truly lives up to its name, delivering a vibrant dining experience with phenomenal food and excellent service. We made sure to arrive for their fantastic Happy Hour from 5-6 PM (and trust me, reservations are highly recommended because this spot gets busy!). Our culinary journey began with the fries appetizer, which was surprisingly a huge hit and perfectly crispy. The main event, however, was the sushi, and it was nothing short of amazing. The sashimi platter was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, a true highlight. We then dove into their sampler sushi rolls, and every single one was delicious: the 2Pac Roll, Three Amigos Roll, The Captain Roll, and the Shinjuku. My personal favorite was The Captain Roll; its spicy seared mayo added a unique and delightful smokiness that I absolutely adored. My husband, on the other hand, couldn't get enough of the 2Pac Roll. Throughout our meal, the service was excellent โ attentive, knowledgeable, and perfectly in tune with the lively atmosphere. Ace Wasabi's delivers on all fronts: incredible, fresh sushi, a fun ambiance, and top-notch service. We're already planning our next visit!
When I indicated it was for a birthday dinner, it was great that they automatically took that into account and gave us free dessert. It was a pleasant surprise! Most places don't do anything with that information
The food never disappoints at Ace Wasabi. The rolls and sashimi are so fresh and tasty. The crispy brussel sprouts and asparagus are delicious as are the black truffle edamame. Katie, our server was amazing. She was so helpful in helping us choose some things we hadn't ordered there before and the Aburi style nigiri was melt in your mouth delicious. She is always smiling and willing to help. We had the Sake Toro and the scallop. They come with 2 pieces each. Highly recommend. The place tends to get dry loud, that's the only drawback in my opinion. But great vibe otherwise. Can't wait to go back.
The waitresses were extremely rude, cold and rushed (yet the place wasn't full, I was genuinely kind and asked how their day was). I got eye rolls as I ordered off of the menu, and I felt unwelcome and just an overall coming from a place of โno' attitude for the entire staff. And if they smiled - it was fake (you could tell they were sarcastic fake forced smiles) I wasn't dressed inappropriately, I wasn't rude, I wasn't loud, I was quiet and polite and friendly - and met with sheer unwelcomeness and fake smiles. I've been going to Ace for 20 years... and supported them during Covid. I'm not sure what's off, but they need to take a class in customer service. I doubt I'll go back after this experience. Food is love, but why eat in a toxic environment?
We went at 5:30 for happy hour and 6pm bingo. Great new menu and happy hour specials, fantastic and very friendly service, delicious fresh sushi and a really good time. Will go back again and again and again. Good for all ages, too.
They are friendly and service is quick. They do engage in a bit of an up-sell (Michter's Rye in my Manhattan), the large Sapporo, the premium version of a similar nigiri, but I was thoroughly pleased with my meal.
Fantastic food and an even better staff. Been going for over 20-years and it does not disappoint.
2 Pac roll was my favorite. This was my first time. My partner and I would come back again!
๐ ace wasabi Dad was visiting sf so I HAD to bring him to ace wasabi. Although there are a million reasons why I love this restaurant the first is definitely The ambiance it's somehow dark but loud and joyful in this restaurant. They have a 5-6pm happy hour with amazing discounts on the freshest sashimi and they have bingo nights on Wednesdays that gets pretty rowdy and sounds fun (haven't been yet though and REALLY want to) OKAY so some of the food highlights We got the - 8 piece sashimi sampler (got devoured so fast I forgot to take a photo it was so good) - Victoria's Secret roll (it was so good and lightly spicy with tuna and tempura) - 2 pac roll my dad loved it and said it was so fresh and light BUT one of the many things I love about this place is how fast the service is (it's almost insane how fast they grab your plate and sit you down) -highly recommend a reservation though ALSO I LOVED THE TOKYO margarita and it's one of the coolest cocktails ever. It's a typical marg and they put salt and matcha on the rim and it's one of the most yummy margs ever and you probably are thinking... uh r u sure that would taste good? but TRUST ME it is amazing. #tokyomargarita #acewasabi #sushi #sf

Best Sushi in San Francisco.
Bee, Sunny and Kenny run a great sushi joint.
We often the spice girl and go between 5-6 to get happy hour which includes half priced sashimi and its the best sashimi we have ever had.
Bingo is also fun on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
This is an institution in the Marina and San Francisco and not to be missed.

The sushi at this restaurant is outstanding! The fish is incredibly fresh, and each bite bursts with flavor. The service is also wonderful โ attentive, friendly, and quick. Highly recommend for a great sushi experience!
Had a nice meal, all the sushi was fresh and delicious. The crispy rice tuna tartar and chicken strips were great starters. Service was smooth and attentive, would recommend!
