i went in there for a glass of their house wine. wine list said 14 dollars. The bill was 26 it included tip and some additional fees. i left 18 percent without reading because i was in a hurry.
Lasagna and mushroom pizza were just okay, walked in a no one said hi to us, was weird vibes.
If you’re looking for an alternative to Tony’s wait time go to Il Casaro Pizza up the street.

Busy neighborhood spot - super friendly and lovely food! Went for my bday with my wife and 2 adult girls. Good cocktails, friendly bar and wait staff. We were quickly seated, focaccia was more of a pizza base but still good. We all ordered pasta, 2 of us having the wheel special - pasta made to order in a wheel of Parmesan! All dishes were great tasting and super hot. We had a great nite!!
We came NYE so it was incredibly loud, nevertheless after about a ten minute wait (even having reservations) we were seated. Food was decent, not exceptional, not terrible but okay. The downside was service was pretty slow -- it took time to order and get our check. Overall, I might come back but it's not a priority.
They microwaved our food after forgetting for 30 minutes. Then they pretended like nothing was wrong. I've never topped 0% in my life but I had to. It took 3 calls to get through to the manager and they comped us 50%. It was just a terrible anniversary dinner.
We Enjoyed ourselves..but did find All things to be a little unsophisticated.. Appreciate the Effort of All Staff Very Friendly.
Ideal location in north beach. Pastas were too salty. Service was on the slower side. Only one restroom. Overall just meh.
The food was good, the service was not bad. I had made a note in the reservation to get a birthday slice for one of my guest, which never happened. I wasn't able to mention it while there because it was meant to be a surprise.
The food was bad, just plain bad we started with the bruschetta Pomodoro. It was so salty we couldn't eat it. The Caesar salad was OK. The chicken Parmesan was burned. My husband did like the cheese whale pasta, but when the server came out to do the table side service, he poured a little bit of vodka into a container to light the fire to heat the Parmesan cheese and it was a bottle of vodka that you could get at a convenience store for $1.99 we will not be returning.
Best Restaurant in North Beach. Service was personable and prompt. Kind staff and portion sizes were big with quality food.

We tried the Maila Pizza and the Spaghetti Parmigiano Gricia, and everything was fantastic. The pasta was truly phenomenal rich, flavorful, and tasted authentically Italian. The pizza was equally delicious, with great ingredients and perfect balance. Our waiter was wonderful super helpful, friendly, and gave us excellent recommendations. The rest of the staff was also very attentive and provided great service. A wonderful meal all around! Highly recommend!
Service was okay, however the quality of the food was disappointing. Ordered the margarita pizza and it tasted as if they mashed a tomato and poured it on top of the dough. The pizza was dripping, soupy, and uneasy to eat. I was heavily disappointed with the quality in comparison to the price. The focaccia was covered in salt and the dough was hard. Overall a disappointing experience. Would not recommend unless you want to go home hungry and unsatisfied looking for another meal.

I HAD to review this place. To be honest, came here because there was a crazy long wait on the other spots in the area, but I am so glad I came!!
First of all, NO SEED OILS!! we had a pepperoni pizza, a cheese pizza, meatball appetizer, salad, and a perfectly cooked lamb chop, medium rare. Vegetable 🥕side dishes.
Start to finish, amazing. Service, drinks, food. Across the board. So yummy. We even ordered another pizza to take home! The sauce to cheese ratio was so perfect 🤤
I wasn’t prepared for this level of delicious so apologies for the lack of pics 😆
Two ten year olds, two adults very happy 🙏

Acquolina was a great start to our girls night out! Our server was on top of it and was easy to work with! The chicken parmigiana was so incredible, will be coming back just for that. Drinks were strong and at a reasonable price. Loved the ambiance and atmosphere!
Establishment was busy on this Friday night, which was great to see! We had reservations and were seated outside, which was appreciated! Again, they were busy and service was a bit sporadic at times. Food was good...just not great. Guess I expect a little more when dining out anymore!
