Great sushi at a (kind of) reasonable price. Truly Michelin ⭐ level

Boxes are kept cold and they tell to keep it at room temperature for an hour before you can eat. It’s $40 for a box. The food itself was fine, but it makes no sense at this price point. Just make the box fresh with rice at the rice temp.

Ridiculously good, nothing much else to say. You really can’t get the Michelin-star quality they’re offering at sit-down restaurants for even close to the same price.

Genuinely don’t know where the reviewers commenting on price go to eat fancy sushi.

Arrive at 2:15pm on Saturday and it's already sold out and closed. Make sure to come early.

A sushi takeout restaurant with omakase quality! The quality is definitely not inferior compared to other omakase places I've visited, especially for the price, and the seasonal fish changes are fantastic. I recommend eating it after 30 minutes to an hour.

This takeout sushi spot has been getting a lot of attention on social media lately so I swung by for a quick lunch. Previous reviews said to line up early so I got here 15 minutes before opening as a line was forming already. They put out 5 boxes of each sushi option at a time (with more in the back if available) so things can run out from time to time.

Aesthetically speaking this spot is a gem, the interior gives off minimalist Japanese vibes with colorful and beautifully decorated boxes of sushi. I tried the tuna set and it was good though didn’t exceed my expectations like social media made it out to be.

The one thing that seems absurd to me is how steep of pricing they are charging for the boxes. The omakase 10 piece takeout for example is $54 which comes close to what a dine in place would charge. I would’ve expected the boxes to be cheaper given that it’s a takeout only joint so seems the prices are mostly for the aesthetics and pictures in my opinion.

Arrived around 11:30am to find the line around the corner. It went pretty fast, and we got though in about 20 mins. There were a few people in line that didn't know what to expect and were a little overwhelmed in what to choose. I noticed that some of the boxes were similar so I asked what some of the differences were before choosing. Overall it was tasty! Some of them had enough wasabi to clear my sinuses... I'm not sure if that amount was standard or they were just heavy handed.

Picked up takeout from Aji Kiji this week around 11:30am on a Friday and there was already a line around the corner. I will say it moved relatively quickly. With around 15-20 people ahead of me, I waited approximately that same amount, in minutes, to order. The spot is super minimalist but warm with wood paneling. I ordered the 10-piece omakase with 6 negitoro maki and it was soooo good. The staff was friendly and efficient. The whole experience opening and eating the meal was great, all down to the chopsticks, fish quality and soy sauce served in a cute fish squeeze bottle. Perfect for a girls outing or a park date. Come early since they sell out fast! Be prepared to spend $30-$60/person.

I got to try this the month it opened (when there was less attention), and the presentation of the sushi caught my eye. However, the owners of the restaurant were rude to my friends and I. We would be asking questions and answered unwillingly and rudely. It seems that they found their way on social media by paying “food influencers” to market for them, but if you’re not getting paid, they won’t be trying to make you feel comfortable and want you to eat there.
