Felt this place went downhill, this time I wasn't as satisfied. We order the tinfoil enoki mushroom but they give you hella little , like just one layer. This was probably one of the best tasting thing we ordered, loved the garlic sauce. They were out of the xl oyster so we ordered the big size one. They lacked in flavor and had very little minced garlic sauce. Chives were also tasty. The lamb however was packed with seasoning but it didn't really work, it need some salt to bring out the flavor. As a dessert I order the rice cakes, they were dried as hell on the outside and didn't taste the fresh. Also the thousand year old egg is a little bit over priced for just chopped pieces of eggs with some sauce and garnish, would be nice to have some tofu with it.

Ordered though DoorDash and the oyster was rotten. It was covered up in sauce so I couldn't tell at first but when I put it in my mouth the taste was so disgusting that I immediately spit it out.

I absolute love eating skewers and when I found out about this place I knew that I had to go. Unfortunately, it took a long time before I was able to find a chance to come but I was not disappointed at all. It's a small place and when I went it wasn't too crowded given that it was a Tuesday night. The skewers there are made quite well without it being burnt but having a crispy exterior while retaining juicieness inside. My favorites were definitely the lamb skewers, beef tripe, chicken skin, gristle, gizzard, and wings. Drinks are a bit pricy here so that is something to consider but definitely a good place to hang with friends over some skewers and drinks

Love the skewers from here. The meat is fresh and juicy. Skewers portion are plenty and tasty, and love their seasoning. Noodles dishes and other appetizers dishes are delicious as well! Good vibes, and delicious food. 10/10 would recommend the place.

First experience: 3/5 for me, 4/5 for the bf.Second experience: 1/5 for me, 0/5 for the bf.The first time we came here was alright. We decided to come back a second time only because it was late and close-by amongst the limited options. Not amazing or anything but will satisfy your cravings for grilled meat. Everything tastes the same exact flavor of overpowering seasonings in my opinion. My boyfriend loves meat skewers and those flavors though so he was looking forward to eating. We came in and there was an empty table so the worker told us we could sit. Then a couple behind us came in so she asked if we could switch with them. So we got up kinda confused, but I assumed they had more people coming (they ended up being a party of 6). We stood and waited until another table cleared.. and it literally was for the same amount of people but we sat there after as a party of only 2. We ordered our first round but each item came out soooo slow one by one. While that table behind us received all their food so fast.. and they ordered A LOT compared to us. We literally didn't get our few meat skewers til over an hour in. By then my boyfriend was exponentially more hangry than ever, and I was not having the whole situation. I looked around and we weren't the only ones that noticed and were visibly upset. Another guy was consoling his girl rubbing her back while she looked miserable waiting for her few sticks of food. After we finally got our meat skewers, it had taken forever and we were hesitant of putting in another order. We asked how long it would take it we ordered more meat, she said 30-45 minutes... so how did that other party get all their copious amounts of food back to back in so much less that amount of time? They came after us, and had finished eating all their food before we got our skewers.I am super understanding of them seeming understaff - only one girl working the floor and who knows about the kitchen - but it's not cool leaving all the rest of your customers waiting and hungry. I feel bad for her, she's doing it all. A better system should be set in place, especially with the food coming out to all the customers. I felt like the service was super biased. We left unsatisfied and still hungry after all that time in there.

Stoked. Loved it. We went as a group of several vegetarians and weren't sure how many options there would be-- turns out SO many! All delicious and great prices, very fun to share lots of small things.

This place was recommended to me because I really was craving skewers. This restaurant is small and somewhat tucked away but has a really good positive energy.Food is ordered from the qr code on the table and they offer a wide selection of food at a more affordable rate than an sf izakaya which was a must for me. My table got a lot of chicken skin, gizzards, hearts, bacon wrapped enoki, fried chicken, a choy, chives, beef, and lamb. The only downside is that it seems almost like the seasoning is the same for all of their grilled items. Probably a mix of chili powder, cumin, salt and pepper.Service is short staffed but really fast and attentive. The atmosphere is very casual and meant for hanging out with friends. Overall I was impressed and would recommend coming here for skewers especially if you have been craving it.

Sometimes it's hard to rate places, but what I remember about this place was that I left very satisfied. I'd probably give it a 4.5 if I could, but I would easily recommend this for others. The skewers were plentiful and tasty, the noodle dishes were bountiful. There weren't any dishes I was disappointed by and I feel like it has the common items, it has the exotic items, it just has something for everyone. The biggest downside of the place is it's use of cheap plates and utensils imo. So if you're looking for a nice dinner vibe vs casual place, this probably won't be the place for it.

Quickly adding Aceking to my list of favorite restaurants in the Bay. I love Chinese BBQ, and this spot has some of the most generous (and tastiest) portion sizes I've seen so far!Our favorites:- Lamb Skewers- Thin Tofu Wrap- Stir-Fried CabbageThe lamb skewer is especially sizeable, and each piece is juicy, fatty, and well-seasoned. We loved this so much we ordered another two skewers before leaving.Service is also super attentive. We got our water refilled quickly and skewers came out in a very timely manner. The restaurant is cute and clean, and it seems like a great place for group hangouts! Would 100% come back to experience the rest of their menu.

I really recommend Aceking. Their skewers are very authentic Chinese style and the Coriander roll is my all time favorite with crispy chewy tofu skin on the outside. Great place for having a good time with friends!
