Service was kind and incredibly accommodating for my partner and I. We ended up late due to traffic, and they were still able to serve us the full nigiri course till after hours. All of the food was delicious and mindfully prepared for an incredible experience.

Found Akiko's through Reddit as a local omakase favorite. They delivered - the bites are all unique and incredible, definitely recommend.

Unimaginative as far as omakase goes. I was disappointed, the creative flair just wasn't there for the price and the additional $46 toast bite with caviar was totally underwhelming. I never write reviews but it was just a stunning disappointment.

Hey Moon, since I went to 10 years ago, I was fancy place now with clean decor. The food is excellent, service matches, and nice ambience. It's extremely expensive! Not for the casual sushi eater, either New York plus prices which once again everything was excellent but $250 a piece plus drinks with a total bill of $800 seems a little overkill for 2

6% additional health mandate will be charged on your bill. That combined with sales tax and your tip (assume you want to tip 18%) will result in 1/3 of your expensive bill being spent on taxes + tips. Insanity. Other than that, this is a high-end, awesome restaurant that I have been going to for +10 years. Just saw the mandate this time on my bill. I hope it is not my last time.

Generally very unengaging omakase, felt like chef couldn't be bothered, one word intro to food. Sake pairing completely mistimed. Sometimes arriving way too late, sometimes double stacking. Food fine, unspectacular. I've been to their sister, Friends Only, which is extraordinarily better.

Fantastic omakase experience. Sake selection was nice as well, fish without much sauce etc just really good fresh fish

The place was good for gathering Everything except the food Too much sushi rice for the omakase Got 10 Nigiri and the sashimi i don't taste fresh Just like a normal sashimi at the Japanese restaurant nothing special

The service and ambiance at Akikos are excellent. All of the staff were extremely attentive and friendly. Unfortunately the quality of the sushi doesn’t match. We sat at a table vs the bar, so maybe that makes a difference, but the sushi rice was hard and cold, and the quality of the fish itself wasn’t great.

Truly elevated experience! Delicious and unique flavors. Service warm and welcoming, present but not over bearing. One of the best meals I've had all year.

One of the very best omakases on the West Coast. Their coffee cured blue fin tuna and their toro are fantastic.

Excellent meal as always. I do have to say the portions for this sushi nigiri we're very small. They could increase that a little bit and they'd still do great but that's the only negative.
