Even the side dishes were full of flavor.
Okay, Alice’s is definitely a place for non-Chinese eaters. Step inside and it’s clear that the menu (sweet & sour, mango beef), decor and customer base are geared towards non Asians, which is fine for the neighborhood.
We both ordered the lunch special which came with a strange vegetable clear broth soup that was not bad. I ordered the spicy eggplant and my partner the kung Pao chicken. My dish was decent although the Szechuan sauce needed more vinegar and bean paste. My partners KP chicken was very bland and not at all Kung Pao.
The service was efficient, kind and quick. They gave us both a pot of tea and water. I see that they have a regular clientele but for me, I would not return.
Generous portions, great flavor, and friendly service!
Super super * Salty*
Was feel so hungry before I came.
When I eat a bite, OMG.
I better back to Bay Area any Chinese restaurant, (any) also better than this restaurant.
Alice's is a great place for a dinner with friends or a casual meal alone. They serve great Chinese food and have a good atmosphere.

All of the classic American Chinese food options. I ordered the combo appetizer, orange chicken, hoisin string beans and a side of rice.
The best dishes were the pot stickers in the appetizer combo and the string beans.
The orange chicken sauce was pretty good too, but the meat was not very flavorful.
The crab Rangoon didn’t seem to actually have crab in it, just cream cheese. And the egg roll was pretty bland and overly oily.
I’d get those string beans and potstickers again for sure but maybe not other items!
Also, Delivery to twin peaks was extremely fast on Saturday for dinner.

I got takeout from this place last week after a long absence. I’m definitely putting it on my rotation of takeout/destinations. It is delicious! I easily found parking. Will be back!

My husband likes going to this place AND THATS THE ONLY REASON I KEEP ORDERING FROM HERE - the service sucks and they are ALWAYS EXTREMELY RUDE when taking orders and when picking up - the food is NOT ALL THAT EITHER - if he didn’t like this place so much I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN and at that we always spend well over $150 for them to give such bad service!!

I’ve only ever ordered takeout and I can say it’s the best beef fried rice I’ve had recently. Not greasy and very flavorful. The won ton soup was good but left more to be desired, however I ate it side by side with the rice and it was pure flavor perfection! This place is fried rice heaven and they’re always very nice and helpful during pickup/checkout
Parking: This establishment is located on the corner of a Slow Street of SF, parking is very limited during lunch time
