We had many flavors of gelato here. Pistachio is particularly great! Service was fast. There was a line to get the gelato but moved quickly.

The flavors are hit or miss but they only let you sample one flavor. That’s tricky because you don’t know if it’ll be good, especially with how many options they have. For example, tiramisu and hazelnut brownie were not good at all. Thai tea was good. Pistachio was salty. Cookie dough was basic. The girl at the front was slamming the sliding doors to the gelato and did not even smile once at us. The service was very unfriendly. When we asked for recommendations, she said “all is good” just to get rid of us. The Italian lady was whispering under her breath out of annoyance. I don’t recommend blind buying without sampling.

came for a hot chocolate and some canolies, was told no drinks available since the machine had already been cleaned. this would've been fine but the hostess was so rude about it that it made me not want to buy anything after. never coming here again 👎

The best sandwich I've probably ever had. Sat outside and ate hoping the people on the street would realize how good it is! Definitely recommended

Closest thing you can get to a bodega. The inside is very small and you will be rubbing shoulders when putting in an order. The no-nonsense nonna whipped up our sandwiches quickly and with a bag of chips and our drinks we enjoyed the sunny day at the park. Great stop for a quick lunch.

I did not have a good experience at Alimento. I went in for gelato. Right off the bat the employee working wasn't very friendly then I asked for a few samples since there were so many different flavors. She was super stingy with the samples and cut me off after two mico samples explaining that it's two samples per person, which I then responded with saying that I am not going to get anything then because I did not like the two flavors I tried... She lost business by being stingy and rude. I'm usually not even picky but this gelato wasn't good and I was truly just trying to find something I liked. The gelato had a weird texture and the flavors did not taste like their description. Hence why I wanted to try a couple other flavors. Overall the gelato wasn't good, it was overpriced and served by rude staff.

The pistachio gelato is so good. Plus it is close to the nice park with a nice looking church. They had many flavors too.
