Very expensive and overrated. They expect you to have both pasta and meat entrees, each priced what I'd expect for a full meal at a good restaurant. Wine was good but very pricey. Service was fine but nothing special. Our server was Italian and a sweet guy but couldn't communicate well enough to be helpful. Bruscetta was excellent. Bread and dip was outstanding! Lasagna was excellent, the butternut squash ravioli very good, the other dishes were just fine but not impressive. We asked for spaghetti and meatballs for the kids and it was awful - bland balls of beef with tomato sauce apparently straight from a can - they totally phoned that in! Nothing for kids. I would not go there again.

We had the Cesar, meatballs and bread with pesto sauce and the butternut squash as a main. The food was absolutely delish, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend and hopefully you get Stefano as your server, he’s wonderful!

We both got different pastas. The orecchiette with broccoli rabe was amazing. The rigatoni was excellent as well. We were there during a birthday party so it was exceptionally noisy during our visit but under normal conditions it would probably be pretty low key.

Amazing “trad” Italian food, fairly priced, and unlike many other Italian restaurants in SF, I’ve never gotten full from the pasta.
They also have a deal, where during the week, if you come between 5-6pm you get 30% off all pasta and wine.

The vibe was good and food was great across the board! The only issue was the service – it seemed like they may have been understaffed for a busy Saturday but in a two-hour meal our water wasn’t refilled once, our waiter stopped to check on us maybe once, and plates were deposited on the table quickly and without any words or eye contact. I’m not usually too picky on this, but it was noticeable, especially for a slightly upscale restaurant
