Overall, this was a nice place for a meetup. The food was very good, but expect it to be catered to the American audience, which is fair. Convenient location in downtown SF. Will go again.

Good food and service but tired ambience - chain hotel atmosphere with fine dinning prices

Best Indian restaurant in San Francisco. Close to downtown hotels. Everything was well prepared and served with attention.

We have been coming to the place a number of times but this visit the food overall was very mediocre. Like chicken 65 you could tell is warmed/refried version of old food, not fresh at all. The naan were also mediocre and so other food. Service wise I would expect that someone will come and tell us it's a last call and kitchen is about to close so if you would like to order anything more. Found out only when I asked for menu again to check out naan/rice option. Overall the price and food quality and service value felt mediocre.

The first thing the waiter told us was that they were closing in half an hour. So please go and grab whatever you can before that! Upon leaving he was very cross because I did not pay either! Strange behavior marring the experience.

Very good ambience. Choice of vegetarian food. Both buffet and alakarte available.

Very rude servers. I will not recommend this place at all.

Went for lunch buffet and server was very rude.

Been frequenting this place for years. Lately the food is more Nepali and doesn’t taste like Indian cuisine any longer (presumably because of chef and staff turnover). Their lunch buffet in particular, is very disappointing. I don’t expect to visit this restaurant any more. Bummer…..

Prefer Indian vegetarian food on a Tuesday. Our son had suggested this place. We were at Target and it was only a 4 min walk from there. Though Google had warned that it closes at 2:30 pm and it was already 2 pm, we went there. Better non-veg spread than veg spread in the buffet, but we took r veg food. Husband liked the daal and and I the paneer lavender. Jalebi not so good. Atmosphere very nice

This continues to be one of my favorite Indian restaurants. Convenient location across the street from Powell BART station. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. I appreciated all the gluten free offerings. The restaurant used to be elegant and quiet. It has gotten more popular; when we went, it was crowded and noisy. It also could use some 'refreshing' in terms of appearance. It's fine now but it used to be beautiful.

I've had dinner here before and it was really good. I scheduled a business lunch and was puzzled to find that only buffet service was provided. The food was ok, not outstanding. I would have e liked to know that my meal was to be buffet only and would have come back only for dinner.

Service was great, food taste and quantity not good. Charges were outrageous and portion size even more so. Samosa and tandoori chicken was good; Papdi chaat 6 pieces for 15 bucks not good; palak paneer had no distinct taste at all and the dessert quantity of pistachio kulfi was dismal, with 4 small pieces. No idea what the restaurant is trying to achieve but disappointing.

Absolutely terrific Sunday brunch! Great variety of wonderful tasting Indian food. One of the best brunches in San Francisco. We'll definitely return!

Never fails to please. Expensive, but totally worth it. One of the best Indian in the Bay Area. Correction. The best.

From the drinks to the Chaat appetizers to the main courses this is an outstanding experience.
