Decide for yourself if this is worth $20🥲
We had the the pokebowl and strawberry matcha. They were both so good and large portions as well.
The strawberry matcha is amazing! So thick and creamy

Delicious, high quality sushi and poke. Prices have gone way up though!
Also, lunch hours are a problem--they close at 2:00 which seems quite early.

Got horrible food poisoning from here, when my wife called to inform them about it to prevent others from getting sick the woman on the phone was nonchalant about it with no apology or concern and then hung up on her.

I used to come here 1-2 times a week, and loved everything on the menu. But the drastic menu changes have left me really disappointed. The new menu is less customizable, less flavorful and overall disappointing. Fish in the Box was one of my favorite restaurants, but i don’t see coming back with the current menu.
Feel very mixed in leaving this review given how many times I’ve come here but am not a fan of the new menu at all. I used to love the customizable summer bowl with its simple, fresh ingredients. The new bowls are not it at all and have a weird mix of flavors that led to me throwing away my bowl the other day for the first time ever.
Please bring the old menu back!

I used to love Fish in the Box, but I’m really disappointed with the recent menu changes. I was sad to see they no longer offer curry, and now the poke bowls are severely lacking in customization. Instead of letting customers choose their toppings, they’ve switched to pre-set options that don’t make much sense in a bowl (e.g., tomato, eggs). I don’t understand the reasoning behind these changes, but they’ve made my go-to order worse over time.
I even gave their newer, fancier options a try, but they were underwhelming. The rice-to-protein ratio in the bowls is way off, with far too much rice and not enough fish. The overall flavor was also disappointing—after trying them once, I knew I wouldn’t be ordering them again.
I really miss the old menu and the flexibility they used to offer. Unfortunately, with these changes, I don’t see myself coming back.
The food here is absolutely delicious - beautifully presented, fresh, interesting. The sushi burritos are great - but the rolls are really special, particularly the Toro Roll. And the beef potsticker are excellent! So thrilled to have this gem in the neighborhood.

Great food, very fresh fish! I dined in the first time and it was very good.
The second time I ordered delivery through doordash and was very disappointed, super small quantity and not as fresh so I recommend dining in or pick up maybe?

I feel mixed leaving this review, but I have ordered from here countless times over a few menu changes and loved it. However, the most recent menu update is super disappointing. The original poke bowls were simple and delicious but the new bowls are unappetizing in my opinion - seafood with egg, corn, tomatoes and WAY too much katsuo!
I appreciate the owner trying something new, but I wish they would bring back at least the option to have a simple poke bowl (and the katsu curry).
