The Sultan is an overpriced plate of yogurt. Literally. One kebab, a spit of roasted eggplant and literally half a plate of yogurt for 28 dollars. I felt ripped off. Do not order that plate if you don't want to be really disappointed. That's why I give it 3 stars. The rest of the food for my table guests was great and we will be back for more

The food was delicious and so were all of our wines, but unfortunately the servers didn't know how to handle an allergy, which left a bad taste in our mouth about the whole experience. I'm writing a review in hopes management will take training their servers about allergies more seriously! We arrived at 5 PM, so when the person who brought our food out wasn't able to understand what we needed regarding the allergy, there were plenty of staff available that could have helped out. Instead we asked that person 3 times, and then 2 other servers. Only one of the three staff members correctly informed us of the type of nut and understood that we needed new utensils to avoid cross contamination - it was a big distraction to our otherwise enjoyable meal.

We had a great time here. We ordered Manti, Kasarli Beyti, and Lahmacun and everything was extremely delicious and full of flavor. The service was great too, special thanks to Hussain for being attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable and we will definitely be coming back.

Disappointing overall! The service and ambiance was great but the food was mediocre at best, especially considering how much we paid. The pide was tasting sour and below average, and the Soltani meat was dry, bland, and too stif. This food may have passed if we were not familiar with Turkish food, but it fell short for us.

Everything was amazing and delicious. My humble opinion is that the sweet options (jam, honey with clotted cream, and tahini with molasses) are a bit too many. You could enrich the selection of hot dishes instead.

We had an absolutely great experience! My wife gave her full approval — and that says a lot (she's Turkish). The food was authentic, flavorful, and truly delicious. We had the Olives, Buratta Crostini, and the Horiatki salad as starters, and the Lahmacun and Sultani as mains. So Yummy!

The service was warm, friendly, and very helpful, making the whole experience even better. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our meal. We’ll definitely be coming back — highly recommend to anyone looking for real, authentic Turkish food and hospitality in SF!

The food was incredibly delicious. Amongst the best Turkish/Mediterranean food I have had in city and the US. The service was friendly and had great recommendations. Great music as well. I would recommend popping by and trying it out!

I was waiting for a friend and had a glass of wine and snack. There were at two times during my meal someone’s watching that it wasn’t a dine and dash—mind you I’m Colombian (which someone made a point to ask me about). Horrible experience!! White guests aren’t monitored! Service was slow, and I had to ask several times for help while the table of white ladies nearby was treated like gold….

Never going back !!!!!

Dined here for the first time with my friend and we arrived around 6pm. We were able to be seated immediately since I don’t think they take reservation (or could find it online).

We ordered a variety of dishes: falafel, kalamar, lahmacun, and sultani. It was the perfect amount for two people. Everything was absolutely delicious and my personal favorites were the lahmacun and sultani.

We didn’t have enough room for dessert, and so that means I’ll just need to come back!
