I'm now living close by and wanted to try it out. Service not very friendly until after I left a tip. Pastries were really good. I will go back and try a few other things I saw.

Helpful, convenient, and fresh. The bread is so good; mainly the sourdough. This was a staple for my trip because it’s regularly priced. Though it is not available where I live, this bakery I will genuinely miss. The bakers were helpful in selecting my food options and everything was well rounded for the price. Everything I ate I would recommend and if you’re looking for a a quick snack I highly suggest their Dessert selection. The Ultimate Turkey Avo Club was to die for, fresh, made well, and very Cali. Their Southwest Chip Salad was genuinely amazing, and their Mango tart was mouthwateringly good. Pls never change!

I ordered the pistachio pastry and I can’t stop exclaiming how good it is. I think it might be my favorite pastry I’ve had. I wish I lived closer!

Ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese along with a few other items. When the bagel was ready there was hardly any cream cheese - looked more like light mayo on a sandwich. When we asked if we could get more cream cheese, we were told we had to pay more and that they put “one serving” on it. Would have taken back our tip if we could. The food was subpar and service was just as bad. Will not be back and recommend going anywhere else (across the street to the The Market or down a block to Cumaica or Peet’s).

Super disappointed in the service and food. I first asked if I could get a Tuscan sandwich heated up - the counter service said they only heat things on their “hot menu”. What would the harm have been by microwaving a pre-made sandwich? At the location at the Japan Center they did this. They were out of what I asked for anyway. I had a pre-packaged chicken salad sandwich and the bread was soggy and broke apart when I tried taking it out of the container. Won’t be back.

They just added more delicious pasteries! I tried curry pan balls and apple tartlets and chicken empanadas and mango custard the pumpkin bread. Lol yes I tried all of them ! They make delicious sandwiches on their bakery bread. Brocoli chedder soup is delicious! Love they have Peets coffee.wonderful staff!
This is one Anderson's that made it through the pandemic and is still open. Not the greatest neighborhoodIf you're shopping for bread you need to get there when they open at 7, otherwise most of it's gone and your left with whole wheat

I had the curry pan, although there wasn’t a lot of filling, there was a nice flavour. The breading was nice and thin and crispy. Didn’t feel heavy or greasy. The bakery doesn’t offer oat milk as dairy alternative, but they do have soy and almond milk for those that are lactose intolerant.
I like there cheese bread & blueberry danish.
There are 6 slices same as Japanese bread. It doesn't have the chewy texture of JapanI think it's the closest to Japanese bread. The price is a little over $4 for half a pound.I also tried the Japanese milk bread.I didn't really notice the difference. The pastries are also delicious.Milk France is a particular favorite.
The mix berries tart is super good. The ladies are friendly too
Excelente bakery. I can said everything we tried it was delicious. We tried the fig and nut loaf bread, cheese Danish, Japanese sandwiches, and curry and meat donut balls. All excellent.Very busy bakery. The ladies are very attentive with the customers needs, although it was crazy busy .
