I reallly love the vegetarian curry pan that I visit this store often for that dish. Good snack! Love it !

We had melon breads. They were very dry.
Honestly, the vibe at Anderson Bakery was super uncomfortable during my last visit on June 19, 2025. There was only one guy working as the barista, and at one point, he started yelling at a younger girl who was working the register. It was awkward and tense, and you could tell everyone in the place felt it.
What made it worse is that he didn’t take any responsibility. The poor girl ended up crying, and instead of apologizing or trying to fix the situation, he just gave attitude when someone tried to call him out on it. He acted really immature and unprofessional, like a teenager throwing a fit.
It’s a shame because the place has potential, but customer service like that totally ruins the experience. I really hope management steps in and does something about it
This review is purely for their Jalapeño cheese bread.
I’m addicted to them and highly recommend that everyone try them.

Simple spot, they have a huge selection of pastries and some cakes and desserts. Everything looks good, but I have only tried their Tiramisu. And it was good! They also have tables in the corner of the establishment, which helps with finding a place to eat at!
Very disappointed. The cashier was extremely rude and dismissive for no reason. It made the whole experience uncomfortable. Definitely not coming back.

The Japanese Shokupan (Milk bread) is my favorite thing to order here. The curry pan is also delicious—so flavorful!! Andersen is a staple for me in Japantown.

I am consistently disappointed with what they have to offer here. Expectation vs reality is just sad. Not to mention the checkout experience is extremely confusing
