The food tasted great, the pizza crust was memorable, however we ended up with food poisoning within hours of getting home that night after dinner. We had pretty simple pizzas, one margarita with sausage and pepperoni - had to be either the meat or cheese. Our experienced was tainted and not sure we’ll be back.

Angie’s is amazing — probably the best thin crust pizza in the city! Wood fired with organic dough is the way. My girlfriend and I have tried almost all the pies on the menu and every one is great. The date + margarita with pesto drizzle are so good. Simple yet delicious apps including mixed greens salad and meatballs are also delicious.

Great spot, even better vibes and food. Angie's does what they do very well, limited intentional menu. Great sauce and dough. Staff was very kind and fit three of us at the bar during a busy time. The ice cream (not pictured because it was GONE) was delicious, lovely flavors available. Can't wait to go again.

Must have been an off night given the other reviews. 4 of us ordered three different pizzas on a not too busy Friday night and none of them were very good. The pizzas looked and tasted under cooked, no char in the crust like in their pics, the crust was limp, and the toppings were bland. One pizza had a sweet dressing on it that was much too generous and overwhelmed the entire pie. The Margherita pizza was bland and a disappointment. We all walked out dissatisfied with the food.

Had high expectations given the review, but unfortunately was very disappointed. If you come, skip the margarita. The pizza we ordered (see photo) did not resemble the neopolitan, charred crust pizza seen in some of the photos. The crust was very soft and chewy without much texture or flavor. The sauce and cheese were fine but couldn’t make up for the crust. We ate within 15 minutes of it being cooked so the time was not to blame. If you want pizza nearby, would suggest Yellow Moto. The interior seems cute and maybe this was just an off day!

Must try if you’re near Dolores Park. We ordered the pepperoni, shredded bacon, and salami pizzas after being helped by amazing staff. The pizzas were all soooo good, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. I particularly liked the honey on the pepperoni, and the shredded bacon.

Would be nice for date night, it's not too bright and there is wine and dessert. Not the best pizza I have had, but if you're in the neighborhood I'd check this place out. Would come try the ice cream next time.

Such a gem in the mission! I have heard great things about this place, so wanted to give it a try. It did not disappoint. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised! The vibe inside is so cozy and cool, great lighting. The pizza was really thin and crispy, but chewy the sourdough crust with great flavor. I will be thinking about the pepperoni pizza for a while. Definitely going back for it. Do not skip out on dessert even though this is a pizza restaurant the ice cream is some of the best I've had in the city.

small cozy pizza spot that spins vinyls. Enjoyed by the ambiance, didn't feel too pretentious. Food was solid, but nothing to write home about. Just some decent pizzas and meatballs.

Great pizza with a light, chewy crust and some delicious appies and ice cream!Favs of the group were the mushroom and cheese and the pepperoni with honey.Roasted carrots and radicchio salad starters also good, so was the housemade chocolate ice cream with a salty crumb.

I love Angie's! It's a small neighborhood wood-fired pizza place. Great wine, great pizza, great meatballs, great service and great atmosphere. It's a small interior and super cozy on a cold night because of the pizza oven. I highly recommend it!

FINALLY got to try this place! Have been wanting to for ages since it opened. We were able to get a res for 6 of us a day or two before. This is a quaint place. Def unassuming from the outside but with lots of character on the inside. Has like old school pizza/diner vibes but also like a cool modern but retro feel. Decent selection of non-cocktail drinks as well as home made ice cream highlight the menu. We ordered four pizzas - pepperoni, Brussels sprouts, margherita, and date. We also ordered the carrots, chicory and meatball appetizers. The carrots were solid, the meatballs were very good! My fav pizza by far was the pepperoni - they had mikes hot honey and the flavors were great. I will say sourdough crust is not my favorite but they do it very well. These pizzas are on the artisanal side, they are also thin and pretty small, the kind of pizza slice that leaves you feeling like you need more because you can finish it in a few bites. One of the best things we had though was the vanilla ice cream. So so good! Def recommend Service was also excellent, no complaints. This is a solid 4.5 star but rounding down only because the pizza was just very solid rather than mind blowing - based off other reviews I thought it might be a top 5-8 pizza I've ever had! Still great though and will be back.

Food and atmosphere was good, one server for the entire restaurant was a bit distracting to the meal.
