Tingting Bright

Best and most delicious lunch deal (3 courses including a signature ice cream sundae) in the city. Located on the waterfront across from ferry building, Angler offers an unparalleled dining experience that seamlessly blends exquisite seafood, fresh and roast vegetables, whole chicken, and delectable steak. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with the freshest ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. Whether you're indulging in the tender and crispy roast chicken (like Peking duck style), savoring the flavors of the sea with their seafood specialties, or relishing the perfectly cooked steak, every bite is a journey of culinary delight. Angler truly stands out as the epitome of one of the finest dining experience in the city.

Our anniversary dinner was very disappointing. We were excited and had heard good things from friends, but it didn't meet our expectations. The service was not good. We felt like we were bothering the staff instead of being welcomed. Everything felt rushed and not friendly. Some of the food options were new to us, and instead of help, we felt like we were being criticized for not knowing about them.Overall, the evening was uncomfortable and not enjoyable. It's sad that what we thought would be a special night turned out to be a bad experience.

What a wonderful, though pricey, lunch! We splurged and enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The caviar, Krug Champagne, oysters, and so forth paraded before us over the course of three hours. Of particular note is the fabulous wine list and the very helpful sommelier. We enjoyed a delicious Puligny-Montrachet, 2019.

The high price is worth while. I recommend the tasting menu. Definitely stop by the washroom for the bidet. The cocktails are interesting and worth a shot.

Great place with open fire for dinner or drinks. The happy hour is good though I wish the menu was a bit more comprehensive, it seems like over time they've limited the food items.

The food, amazing. I knew it would be. I forget how awesome the dining room can make the experience. There is so much bad service out there and the Angler team reminded me what hospitality is all about. Everyone we encountered had enthusiasm and lust for life. “Let's have fun”??? Dude, you are speaking my language! Also, can I end every meal with an ice cream sundae?!

Honestly this place is quite mid, nice vibes though1. Radicchio salad is fine, raw radicchio with a sweet dressing2. Bread rolls were probably the least exciting, I thought they baked them fresh but that was not the case3. Scallop was v tasty but expected4. Full sea bream is definitely worth it5. Potato was super yummy but again nothing out of the ordinary6. I would only return for the ice cream Sunday, delicious butterscotch caramel with cacao nibs

Great experience, all around. Interesting decor, creative dishes with unexpected ingredients, attentive staff, and fun wines. My party had a little delay being fully seated (because we ordered the tasting menu, and a larger table was needed to fit all the dishes), but they graciously made that right by seating us in an interim area, providing a free round of cocktails & a nice carrot dish to nosh on while we waited. That was classy. The radicchio dish is really stellar. Also particularly enjoyed the kingfish sashimi and scallops. Everything else was very tasty as well.

Beautiful food delivered with the utmost care. The seam bream was my favorite and the prix fixe lunch course is a great value. The service was exceptional, capping off a lovely lunchtime experience.

Wonderful food and the "Quick Catch" lunch (3 course prix fixe at $38) is a real bargain. Attentive, knowledgeable staff. There was a corporate function during our lunch which raised the noise level but did not interfere with our enjoyment.
