It’s a nice bakery in the San Francisco downtown. Spacious with a variety of breads and pattiseries. They have a nice cafe type menu too. You can try out the pasta or the sandwich or the salad etc
I rarely find bakeries matching my southern european expectations in US. This has been actually one of those. Excellent bread, fairly priced, and tasty hot beverages. Service informal and friendly—extra points for being a worker owned coop!
The bakery is amazing, the fresh fruit scone, raspberry muffins, and croissant are perfect. Wouldn’t go for the coffee, but the baked goods make it totally worth it. Staff is friendly too.
