I’m ordering a matcha tea latte on the way to the hostel. I usually buy matcha drink in Japan too, and sometimes try drinking some matcha beverage while traveling. It’s better than expected and same as the Japanese one! Not too much sweetened and smells really good. I recommend you to know the matcha truly.

Very fun tea shop in San Fran. Their matcha was wonderful, smooth, lots of flavor and a bright green. They have a lot of options to add as far as additional flavors, I got the lavender with no additional sweeter and it was perfect. If you appreciate good matcha but also like to change up from the basic plain matcha, this is a great stop. The barista was very friendly and there is lots of great indoor seating options.

Looking for a good matcha place and found on google. I ordered the strawberry matcha latte which had fresh oureed strawberries. Was disappointed because the matcha wasn’t very strong. Also got the Hong Kong milk tea which didn’t taste like it since I’m originally from Hong Kong. I did buy the matcha powder for $28 1 oz and it came with a free tea which was surprisingly very good. I hope the matcha powder isn’t as disappointing as the drink.

The ambiance is chill and welcoming. Also a great spot to study or get some work done (just note that they don’t have Wi-Fi).

I got the Hong Kong milk tea with boba, half sweet, light ice. I went on a Thursday morning around 11:00am and waited roughly 10-15 minutes from getting there to getting my drink. The atmosphere is cute and there is some indoor seating. The milk tea was really good and just perfect amount of sweetness. My only complaint was that the boba was slightly too chewy, but it was still good!

This is a beautiful tea house with high quality teas and a wide variety of unique tea based beverages. However, I didn’t find it particularly vegan friendly. Milk substitutes available at a surcharge. There were 2 vegan pastries available: an ube mochi cake and a black sesame mochi cake. I got the ube cake which was nice: chewy mochi texture, not too sweet, with toasted coconut on top. I like how you have the option of ordering at a kiosk with images of the drinks or at the counter with a human.

I had the strawberry matcha, oat milk less ice and it was good!! Not the best I had so far but definitely not bad. Maybe because the puree was less than what I'm used to. I went with less sweet and it was perfect. I might try other flavors next time.
