We eat at museum restaurants on a regular basis. Asian Box had good food and an efficient system for preparing and serving their offerings.
Parking: Parking is scattered, but why drive when Muni is so convenient. About 2 blocks to walk.

So if Asian Box were not inside the Asian Art Museum - I wouldn’t be here. The food is average but customizable so maybe we chose poorly. They have drinks and the obvious stuff but it’s in a cold cafeteria with some sort of weird fan blaring. Not really the museum vibe. I recall past cafes at the AA that we’re far far better. Grabbed lunch at this cafe in the Asian Art Museum. The banh mi Sandwich was very tasty ?. Good flavors and ingredients! Very authentic.
Shrimp rolls were very tasty too. Would definitely come back again for more delicious food ?
