After 8 years away from the city we returned to Aslam's Rasoi and are delighted to report the food is as great as ever, if not better! The warm reds of the room and the cozy seating along with a cup of chai was the perfect thing on a drizzly night. Service was so welcoming and genuinely kind, and the food came quickly. Recommended as the city's most authentic by a friend from India. Great flavors, careful cooking, generous portions, and an elegant spacious place for conversations with friends. Was surprised by the low prices; the dining experience totally exceeds the price.
