High quality butcher shop - although it’s got a great neighborhood vibe this one is also worth going out of your way for. Everything is great, including some of the house made sauces and sides. Sandwiches are also delicious

A long time local establishment, and a neighborhood butcher shop that you can feel good about supporting. High-quality and conscientious in their approach, they also make some of the best pressed sandwiches around.
This is probably one of the best butchers in SF - my favorite pastrami. Amazing.

I just moved to the neighbourhood somewhat recently and discovered Avedano’s. I’m an extremely avid cook and having easy access to a butcher and meat this quality is game-changing.The staff is fantastic, always incredibly friendly and helpful. I’ve placed special orders three times now and it’s been such a positive experience. I’m looking forward to coming back weekly for all my protein needs.Also, get the Smokey Moe. The sandwich changed my life.
