Coffee is very good and the staff are great. I really liked the tofu musubi, although the rice could use a bit more seasoning. As others have mentioned, the nori and rice stick to the paper which is a bit off-putting. A small sheet of deli wrap between the musubi and paper would solve the problem!

Avenues SF is one of my go-to spots for coffee and breakfast in SF. I usually get either a breakfast bahn mi or musubis, which are both full of flavor and pretty unique. Great friendly staff, the owner is sometimes there and really kind. There’s a cool place on the sidewalk to hang and talk to neighbors, and a beautiful walk along Ocean Beach is only 2 blocks away. Love this place and hope more people get to enjoy it.

Stopped by this charming coffee shop near Ocean Beach in San Francisco and was thoroughly impressed. The coffee art was a delightful touch, and the flavors were robust—exactly what you need on a foggy city morning. Plus, the Curry Bowl was a heartwarming surprise, so flavorful and comforting. A perfect spot for a casual bite. Definitely a gem in the Avenues!

Avenues is my favorite coffee shop in the Sunset. The Kimchi Musubi is a creative spin on your traditional musubi, and the Horchata Cold Brew is super bomb. Definitely coming back to try some of their other menu items. Don't miss out on this spot when you're in the area.

The place has nice decor and they offer some merch and random items. The coffee and matcha were disappointing but the spam musubi was good and all of the food looked great. There isn't much space in the place and there are no seats so this place is to grab and go.

Review mainly for the musubi -- seemed a bit pricey at $6/piece and tasted fine but nothing exciting. These also seemed a bit old (albeit it was the afternoon) and some of the seaweed wrapper stuck to the package paper and ripped off.Coffee was fine. There's not really a place to sit inside or outside, so it's an in and out place.

The horchata latte did not taste anything like horchata, and the woman working was emotionless during the entire interaction which made me feel unwelcomed.

This is a favorite for me as they have wonderful Gluten and Lactose free + healthy breakfast options. All of the musubis are really good, as are the other food options I've tried (avocado toast pictured below). Baristas are always very friendly and chill. I like the different drinks, but sometimes not huge on the black coffee (I usually drink black coffee). They serve Verve coffee, and it's an intense roast. The vibe is solid, but unfortunately not much space to sit and hangout (only reason for 4 stars).

Nice little coffee spot located in Outer Sunset. Outdoor seating available. Very friendly staff and quick service. Originally came here to grab a coffee, but NEEDED to try one of their Musubis. 5 different Musubis to choose from, I went with the Baked Tamago Egg & Spam Musubi. YUM! 5/5. Comes with a delicious gochujang sauce. Honestly, I didn't love my coffee, but maybe I chose the wrong item. I ordered a dirty chai latte and boy was it spicy. Would definitely come back for another Musubi, but order a different coffee next time.

Really good breakfast musubi! I really enjoy the soft boiled egg with spam, it has the perfect ratio of ingredients. I would recommend coming before 11am on the weekends - they tend to run out quick!
